Different years and different kids.  We'd have to look at the strength of competition those years as well.  No shame in losing to the team that eventually went to Jerry land.  Now had we lost to ANY of the remaining field of competitors ...then I'd be feeling different right now.

A loosing record in the playoffs is a loosing record. Years don't matter. But if you do what to look at the level of competition - see above. And remember that in '11, after breezing through their cupcake district, Summer Creek was donkey-stomped by a team that was donkey-stomped by a team that lost to Manvel.

What would you consider SC's best win against real competition?

I guess against Vidor last year was SC's best win so far. I want to say Dayton, considering the overall domination, but as most argue Dayton had been struggling with injuries and inner-program issues at that point. I understand that SC has yet to prove their worth against elite playoff teams with a win, however you have to at least commend their losing effort against Georgetown. They hung in there pretty well for the majority of the game, which really wasn't out of reach until the middle of the 4th quarter. Hanging around with a team that can blow out and nearly shut out a team like Ned has to be worth something. Same goes for Angleton, I thought their 49-39 loss was a bit under-appreciated.

Vidor was a tough team last year - certainly a high-quality win for SC. And SC did play G-town tough. Agree with you on both.

I do believe SC will do well this year and will go further in the playoffs than they have so far. But this talk of them 1) getting cheated by G-town being 5A the year before and 2) being the best 4A team since 2010 is . . . ah . . .  ::)
Their non district schedule has always been pretty easy, which you might expect with a new program.  SC didn't make the playoffs in 2010.  They did well in 2011, but remember that it was a weak district that was completely swept in the 1st round by 17-4A.  19-4A had quite a few poor teams last year so best wins thusfar would have to be against Crosby and Vidor during last season.  SC should continue to get better in 2013.

And despite all the hate, SC is still the Greatest Show on Turf.  Not many teams in our area can say they pass as well or as effectively as SC.  District 20 hasn't seen a ball passed in 20 years of district play.  Those teams RUN.  No shame in that obviously, but most high school teams are built on running.  It's really special when you see a high school squad that runs a pro offense and can throw the ball 80% of the time and WIN!

Ned had a .750 last year
Ned also had a .666 in 2011
And PAM had a .800 in 2011

So what's your point?

All have been in existance much longer.  Ned plays in district 20 ...I mean really.  Those schools should drop to 3A.

Aledo is probably the best since 2010
Aledo without J. Gray ='d 2nd round exit this year.
the question was the best 4a team since 2010. LT went 5a last year and was knocked out quick. So aledo has more championships than any other 4a team since 2010 including a win over LT in non district play.
im going to let you in on a little secrcet. Dayton has lost more games than that one to sc. Just got to take them in stride. Shoot the year before gcm put a butt kicking on dayton. But it is flattering that you look so proudly on that defeat of dayton and forget the fact sc has one playoff win.
