flyfisher Posted June 2, 2013 Report Posted June 2, 2013 Does anyone catch any fish in the stocked ponds at the LVNA salt water barrier in Beaumont and if so, what kind of fish and what are they biting on? Been there many times, fish jumping out of water but no bites.

I don't know how often the city stocks the ponds but I do know of people catching bass from Rayburn and Toledo and depositing them in the ponds so there are at least some bass in the big one to the left.
bullets13 Posted June 4, 2013 Report Posted June 4, 2013 i know there are bass in there. i doubt there can be a whole lot, though, because for the size of the ponds, they take some serious fishing pressure.
