  1. Kyle Field. Saturday Dec 13. See Ya There LT. We get to lay it on the line and see how it works out. You are defending state champs with a perfect record. Much Respect. We get to see if we can earn a little respect along the way too. We have a few players of our own that might have a say in the end. We will be tailgating in Aggieland. AND, we will stay for the whole game no matter what the score. See you there Cavaliers. ;D
  2. Outstanding job on the Pics. Just as I have said in another post, his knee hit, and THEN the ball popped out when his elbow hit the ground. Confirms what I saw right in front of me.
  3. That would be great TXCanes, a little video might stop some of the arguments. I would bet though, that it will start as many as it ends. LOL.
  4. I will be the first to admit that LT is a huge favorite. And I will come eat crow if it is served, But we have to play the game to see. I think that FW will give LT a better game than anybody gives them a chance to. Stuff happens on the field: Gilbert blows out a knee on the 2nd play; Aggie ghosts recognize a longhorn and curse him with a case of hives; who knows? Are they human? YES. That means they can be beat. The gods of karma may strike them down after laying 70 on Killeen. Maybe many of you get your dearest wish and we lose by 40. But it comes to this: We get to try, our kids get to go on that field and lay it all on the line. I think many of you have lost sight of the fact that these are teenage boys, playing their hearts out and busting their butts. Give them the respect they deserve and applaude their efforts. Wish them luck and send them on their way. If you dont like some of our fans..Well...I dont like some of our fans either, or some of yours. Dont denigrate what these kids are doing because somebody yanks your chain.
  5. Incredible game Jags, It was fought with intensity and great Heart by both sides. I was there. Both teams really came to play, the Defenses from both teams played great in the 2nd half. Your game plan worked to a T in the first half, but we just managed to hold two possesions to Field goals, which along with a missed extra point were the difference in the game. I understand you feel like the Refs were harsh in the 2nd half, but I saw most of those penalties myself and they were real. Were there plays missed by the Ref? of coarse there were, in both halves and on both sides of the ball. I saw the "fumble" and it was ruled correctly. It was right in front of me, Karams knee hit, and when his elbow hit the ground the ball came out. The Ref was less than 5 yards away and ruled it immediately, before the ball was even picked up by any player. It was an incredible game, we were holding our breath the entire time. Discounting any comments by any poster from either side, I thought the game was played cleanly and without any intentional fouls. (You should see the picture, on a La Marque website, of Coach Van Meter ripping into Fitzpatrick for the dead ball foul that cost us the extra point in the first half. His veins are about to pop out of his neck!) Do not belittle anyones effort by making excuses, Jags and Mustangs both played their butts off. Friendswood plays Lake Travis next week, and will obviously be a decided underdog. They will need incredible games from all their kids to win, but they Earned the right to be there. I will apologize for any stupid comments from some of our fans, but all teams have fans like that. I promise, win lose or draw I will show up here next week and give an update of the Game. Congrats Jags on a great year, see ya here next year, if that's agreeable to y'all.
  6. I certainly hope that "Friendswood Fan's" attitude is not representative of all us FW fans. I think my team will win, and will say so, but Name calling is a little beneath me. I certainly think Central can win if FW does not come in completely concentrated on the Jags. I do however think that Friendswood is the better team. It worries me to no end that the kids may be looking forward to Lake Travis, but I think that we get our stuff together and start rolling late. I do hope y'all blitz a lot. The last team that sold out trying to get to Karam was La Marqe...... We scored 69 points. See you tonight in the Woodlands, BRING IT ON!
  7. I do worry about Friendswood being overconfident, but I think they are the better team. I certainly think Central can win if we are not complety concentrated on this game, but if we are, I think we win a fairly close game. Stays close early, and then Da Wood pulls away. FW-38 BMT Central-28
