Aggie why do u care that he had the score wrong by 4 points?  A lot of kelly's rushing yards have come against bad defenses.  They didn't move the ball very well against BC. Pius will be the most talented defense they have faced thus far.

I really could care less where Kelly is ranked.  It does provide some entertainment though. 

Kelly played HJ in a scrimmage and has played both HF and BC.  I just don't see any scenario in which HJ beats HF and I think that BC will beat them by 30. I mean no disrespect to my friend jettyman

Hey aggie, I could really care less whether you like Kelly.  If you read most of my posts, you would see that I have plenty of my own concerns with Kelly.  Oh, I forgot, I said something negative about silsbee in another thread.  How dare I!

Please read my post carefully bad Santa. I used the Kelly stats as an argument against silsbee.

At least 4 players with Division I offers on the field.  Can Kelly finally break through against the perenial district champion?

Always good to get a win.  Kelly went back to being completely one dimensional on offense.  Completed only two passes entire game.  Barber is not going to be able to run free against St. Pious this week.  They have equal athletes.

I'm not sure how this thread keeps ending up in the High School forum.  Bruce had a nice career at Westbrook and plays at the college level now. 

The small school poll is nothing short of silly.  Kelly's only two losses are to teams ranked in the large school poll.  I'm glad Legacy is getting better but I don't think even their own coaches would expect a win if they played Kelly or EC.

This is a huge game for Kelly.  It is a must win.  They played their best half of football in the second half against HF.  If they keep the balanced attack on offense and don't turn the ball over, they will be in great shape.

No offer or commitment is binding until national letter of intent is signed in February. School can withdraw offer and kid can go back on commitment

The bottom line is if you're not talking to the coach that recruits your region and/or the position coach directly, you are not really being recruited

I'm not taking anything away from Legacy, but a 5a tapps football team is going to beat a 3a Tapps team 99% of the time. 

I realize the offense at Kelly is going backwards but how do u rank Kelly below EC and do u really feel like legacy has a better team?

Coaches are able to email recruits during the majority of their junior year.  What typically happens with sophomores and juniors that receive offers is the school will send a letter or email requesting the recruit to call a particular coach at a particular time.  When you call them, they are able to talk as long as they need to.  If you travel to the school at your own expense, the coaches can speak with you as much as they want to.  If you are an elite recruit, you will receive offers in the form of a letter during sophomore or junior year based only on your highlight tape.  Their are some small differences in the rules regarding basketball versus football

I don't think you have to have coached to have an opinion. It is true that without the fumbles kelly wins the game. However, the coaches at liberty recognized that kelly's offense is completely one dimensional and made adjustments at halftime.  Kelly was not able to change. The liberty coaches also recognized at halftime that they weren't able to move the ball running outside or for the most part throwing. They just ran it down kelly's throat in the second half.

Hey dodie, give me the names and the numbers of the kids you expect to move on.  I will look each one up on YouTube and watch their performance on Friday.  I'm glad swag posted the stats. You can see that Kelly is only averaging 11 first downs a game and less than 100 yards a game passing.  Both way down from last year.  I'm a Kelly fan, but there have got to be changes.

Kelly basketball happens to be extremely well informed regarding both basketball and football recruiting.  If these kids from Liberty are interested in going on to play college football, they would be smart to contact him and employee him to help put together highlight tapes and provide mailing lists for schools and the appropriate coaches.  He has helped multiple kids from this area.  Trust me when I tell you he is not just blowing smoke.

Here is an interesting stat.  Kelly had more yards passing in the first half against liberty last year than we do in the first three games this year. Have to give mike long his due as an offensive coach.
