This is a no brainer for me, the girls who don't play volleyball on Friday would definitely not cheer or dance on the drill team. Simple as that. Their first commitment is to volleyball or at least that is how I think it should be.

It is going to be a good game, the winner will be the team that wants it the most. I hate to hear all the injuries that Nederland has had so early in the season but don't count them out. The only thing that matters is what takes place Friday night. GO INDIANS

As long as their is no lightening there should be no problem with the teams playing. We have sat through many football games played in the rain.

I was at that game and I got there right before kickoff and I sit in section D and it was packed. That picture was taken before the game even started.

Actually GOING to a race and watching it from the stands and smelling the fuel and burned rubber is WAY better than watching it on TV. Nothing like seeing the race in person.

I thought BC plays the other Lumberton team tomorrow? That is what I was told by a parent with kids playing on the BC team. I haven't them today but I will and are they still playing at Nederlands Stadium?

My point exactly..............and I don't recall anyone calling Bridge City "hurricane trash". As a matter of fact, one of the Lumberton Coaches that was suspended spent the month after the hurricane helping BC clean up their town. He's a good guy. The coach I'm speaking about restrained another coach, never hit anyone. This is from a BC parent who has two boys that play on the team and she was shocked that they would say that.

I can't imagine any police officer who would sit still while grown men were fight in front of kids.

Ok when I looked at this thread yesterday it was LOCKED and now all of a sudden it is back open. : This is bad for both cities and it is rediculous that grown ups can't coach or watch a pee wee football game without name calling and fighting. Also saying that BC stacked the team, how can you stack a team when 30 to 40 percent of both teams didn't come back after the Hurricane. So they combined into one team so the boys could at least finish out the season. And shame on Lumberton for calling BC Hurricane Trash, there is no reason for that. It is sad what happened in BC during the Hurricane and they should be commended that they are trying to give their children some normalcy with football.

Well I have spanked my kids where ever we were when they needed it and I would dare anyone to say something to me. I have good kids too but they also know that Momma doesn't play. I did get a look from a woman once when we lived in CO because they have strick child abuse laws and that was 16 years ago. Still didn't stop me. I still popped her when she needed it.
