well silsbee want hit that many threes hj want get to the basket that easy.. listen theses are two of the best coaching staffs in the state .. both teams will be ready coached up well and make adjustments for the game and during the game.. this is just like a heavy weight fight going back and forth

i listend to the game on here and aww did and excellent job tonight he was fair towards the hj program and the referees about there calls and was enthusiastic for both teams.. he was just making a point why hj was getting to the basket easier in the 4th quarter.. he didn't make excuses why silsbee lost hj just came out and out played them in the second half.. good job aww enjoyed listening to u and the outcome.. keep up the good work

congrats to the seniors and escpically to trey and jarvis there as been alot of people signally calling them out on this board and no matter what they say this guys are leaving with over 100 wins in the career and as state champions... what more can u ask for... as for gym i have had alot of great memories there i always loved going to it with the great fans and tradition there.. watching hj play silsbee and kountze for the past 10 years is what high school basketball is all about

i think silsbee has a great coaching staff and the speed to play with yates or Wheatly.. i think they can be competive but putting 4 solid quarter against them will be tough.. i think silsbee would lose but no get blown out

i think im going to take a coach of the team side instead of someone who has no basketball iq, dosent play and has no life outside this messageboard and his high school basketball team...

yeah i dont think silsbee has any one to match up on brandon peters.. he killed ozen last year in the regionals

I think its a good idea if you want to be the best you have to beat the best.. a while back ago kountze took on the 5a champions milby and played them really close and endded winnig the 3a championship.. But this want be an easy game i think silsbee would hang around for a while but Wheatley will pull away win by 15

yeah in the past you would usual want to take second in this disrict. i dont think either team would like to play navosta that earlyy in the playoffs

i know is a little early for this questions but if hj some how pulls off the upset over silsbee would they play each other back to back on tuesday and friday??

look there are good and bad players on every team and good and bad coaches and administrators in every school, district.. ozen gets away with alot of things but so does hj and silsbee and every other program.. lets hope this kid learns from his mistake and goes on has a successful collegiate career. he should be punished in some way or another, but dont get on her and criticize a high school kid, amateur athlete.. hes not a professional athlete and no one on these board is perfect we all have made mistakes in the past..

I wouldn't count hj out because of the execellent coaching staff they have and benard and turner.. but there bench is going to have to grow up really fast..

as much as I hate to say this the road to state goes through silsbee, they are the defending regional champions and return the main group of guys from last year.. That being said there are 5 to 6 teams that are very capable of beating them in the playoffs and one already has.. so dont start planning a trip to austin just yet

yes the record speaks different from my recent comments 30 wins in a season is a major accomplishent, but the talent level from top to bottom is no where what it has been in the past.. there schudeule seems realy soft to me and there not beating teams by as much as they should, and to many off nights from them lately.. they play wild andout of controll a lot
