Some of us in the community are keeping our fingers crossed. I have no inside information other than what’s been posted here. Hope someone wakes up and makes a good hire.

Oh you could visibly see the lack of eFFort given by the players and some coaches. The only life we saw was the Jasper game and that was the wrong kind of enthusiasm.

Also true, wasn’t much but decline is decline. Guess that’s where the administration and community comes into play. Until that rift is fixed it will probably stay status quo.

Several new neighborhoods being built in the area. Definitely growing.

This exactly! They had a chance to improve the district and upgrade/build new facilities but didn't want to pass the bond. I know that was not for athletic facilities but still an improvement. The bond would've added very little to school taxes. I know that people in the community have issues with people on the school board. Small town drama and such lol.

Haven’t heard, apparently the decision was made late and he informed his coaches after. No one has info or isn’t sharing.

It’s going to take money, it’s no surprise that our facilities are the worst in the area. It’s going to take a combined commitment of administration and community.

Absolutely true! There’s a much better chance of being competitive since we’ve dropped but there is little to no willingness to make our district appealing from this administration. Frustrating!

0-10 Football team, 1-24 Girls Basketball, 5-15 Baseball, 7-15 Softball… Maybe not “great” compared to previous basketball seasons but in the vacuum of 25-26, yeah they had a great season.

Same here don’t know a lot about the coaches on staff. They’re fairly new. Boys Basketball had a great year! Baseball…seems they like making TikTok videos more than playing ball 🤦‍♂️. Oh the woes of sports on the Prairie!

Hearing that DC Tenorio is applying for the job, along with others I’m sure. Anyone have any insight on him?

Facts! Sad but true. The talent we do get here quickly leave and nobody thinks thats an issue…

Believe me its super frustrating out here on the prairie! Seems to be no willingness to build an attractive program for talent or coaches. I am sure this will be an inside hire from the current staff that is still there.

Any news from Tarkington? Have seen nothing so far.

Definitely wasn’t assuming they’ll run the table again, just that they should be ok. Seem to be building a good program there. Still waiting on that in Tarkington lol
