Looks like a good game between two good teams.  Glad we got the cream puffs out of the way before round 3 of the playoffs.  Angleton would've blown out SC, wouldn't have been much fun to watch. 

I heard at halftime SCs swim team is great!  You can watch them "demdawgs"!

I wonder if SC is taking notes on how to be a good team with a true passing offense??

SC looks like they are not liking their lesson on how to run a high powered offense.  Could SC totally fall apart in the second half?  I'm disappointed SC can't hang with the big boys I expected more.  Guess I should not have had such high expectations of a new guy who hasn't accomplished anything!  😄

You can't explain football to demdawgs he is blinded with ignorance.  On the other hand, Hopkins had 174 tonight for another great night against a tough defense.  The defense will be dominant as it has been all year, but Hopkins and the online's tremendous improvements will be key.  It could set up Carson and company for big yards and take the game out of pd Jackson's hands

I believe he's picked against us every week.. Surprising

#1 will be thrown in Nederlands face all week.. Ned being #5 is irrelevant outside of Nederland.    After looking at dawson and going over box scores I really think we have a good matchup in this one.  We were in the game until the very end last year against a much better Dawson team.  We have a much better team this year and I look for a big dog fight!    The whole team will step up for this one.

Yes for 19-4A people head to head defeats mean nothing... It's more about scrimmages, common opponents, and dislike to make predictions.    He mentions Nederland winning this week but losing next week also.  I think some people might be in for a surprise!

Jared Lorimier really impressed me against HJ ... Him and weisbrod were the only two playing that night.    Looks like he's continued and will have a great year this year. 

Looks like PCs main weapon is their big running back... I think that plays into our strength as a team.

Kimler actually had an interception right at the endzone to ice the game, but Dayton pass interfered by literally grabbing his arm and ripping it down... Too bad it wasn't called either

[/quote] I think Nederlands defense is very superior to Vidors.  This years vidor defense is like a lot of Ned's in the past-- good to fair athletes, one great player, and a lot of heart.  The Nederland D this year has a very physically imposing and dominating defensive line, which is where it all starts.  Couron has stepped up big as the year has went on, in my opinion being a leader on the defense with play after play.  2 hard hitting linebackers with great football smarts behind that.  Stampley has been on fire the last 3 weeks.  Then the defensive backs this year play the ball better than almost any I've seen at Nederland. Yesterday Zac Taylor made a quick turn to deflect a ball from the wr on what would've been a big play.  Hard to beat us in a field position game.  I think Ned let up on Dayton.  Against vidor I wouldn't say let up, but definitely relaxed.

We had 2 100yard rushers in this game!  133 by Hopkins and 116 by Carson

Anybody can "hang" with Nederland ... Too bad most just can't beat them.  Hopefully SC will get that chance in a few weeks and we can all see
