  1. 14.2 is just upset because their school district is broke. Maybe they have to hitch rides to the Boneyard? Chron.com quoted Crosby ISD as "on the brink of insolvency". Much like 14.2's sanity.
  2. You mention the BH game from 2 years ago? The same season we ran well against you on turf and was in the playoff game until the end. "Rain will help Crosby"??? The rain and field conditions nearly always favor the best running team. When was the last time you played on wet grass? I realize SETX board rule #100 is a Cougar fan must reply in every thread. How sweet it will be if Vidor pulls it out. Winner of the TO battle will win the game. Vidor - 34 Crosby - 30
  3. "Good" is very subjective. PNG will make the playoffs. Now if you expect to compete for state...different discussion.
  4. Some real fans in BH...walking away from your kids when they needed your support the most. Really...you left the stadium? Wow.
  5. While you were the Houston area I was having rocks thrown at me at Babe Zaharias returning to the bus after getting our butts kicked. Also, considering our scout staff needed an armed escort from the pressbox after the PAM game tells you the hostility we faced. Sure seem like a WOS homer considering that much time away from the area. But to each their own. Like I'll say for the THIRD time, I had no issue we the PAM team until their poster took shots at local teams, coaches, play calling, and lastly the communities. You'll see over the years that I have been consistent in my descent to posters for Summer Creek and Crosby for the same thing. Call it rants, I call it facts. No...it is fact. Go win a second championship and I'll cheer you. I remember listening on the radio in 1987 when WOS won it. Not sure if you were in the area then, but it was huge. So was West Brook in 82 in their first year. Wow...a Vidor teenager cheering on a local team. Used to be we all did that.
  6. That makes a lot of sense. I appreciate your honest response. Just never understood why it happened to Vidor specifically. I'm just saying that if the majority of PA residents share the same views at Pak, then I understand. I personally loved playing TJ and Lincoln when I was in high school. Don't know, maybe I'm asking the wrong question in the wrong forum. If that is the case, I'm truly sorry.
  7. Sir. I don't know you and probably will never meet you in this life. If you check my posts, I didn't start posting until mid season. What I'm saying is you allow posters like Pak to spit out garbage with no recourse. I didn't even know about the PAM game controversy until Pak brought it up in the game thread. But since then, I've spoke with three players in addition to an assistant coach I've known since I was 5. What happened....It happened. But my question I why? Why Vidor? Why our stinky hands? Btw, I moved to Houston 15 years ago last month. Funny how you can give your opinion of an out of area prospective when you still live there. You are right, but the actions of the PAM go to prove the divsions are right there 15 miles away from each other. Plus you talk about ESPN smearing you...try CNN coming to your hometown to tell the world about it's "Sundown" past. Block me, kick me off, I don't care. Just be real and stop allowing one poster from getting away with whatever they want. Nine years is a long time to hear about how much Vidor sucks from 75% of this board. We never had a Dan Hooks or Earl Thomas. It is what it is. But there seems to be a lack of empathy among fellow football fans.
  8. Vidorian written by Randall Luker where 12News Lance Edwards asked the coaches and they verified it never happened. Guess it doesn't matter what hundreds of fans saw. What I'm saying is, why Vidor? Like I said in my first post, "For the kids that spent countless hours of sweat and tears to show maturity and sportsmanship, I hate that your season ended early". Guess you can't read an entire post. But for those that had other motives in their actions, I don't care. That goes for Vidor, any local team or honestly any level team. Putting your motives ahead of sportsmanship is selfish. Final note...I donated to this site when they were in trouble, several times. My post count isn't 30k but I've been on here a long time. I cheer my alma mater and do have disagreements with other fans, like we all do because we are passionate at FOOTBALL. But allowing and defending "political" actions on a tax payer funded high school field is not appropriate. Plus the actions that were allowed by Pak fed an already volatile situation.
  9. Bias as in a mod not shutting down Paks obviously bias and derogatory posts.
  10. No. No. No. It's beyond the field. Maybe Vidor doesn't have the presence of PNG, Nederland, or even WOS this board. There has always been bias. But facts are facts. Since it didn't happen to your alma mater, how do you know how it feels?
  11. If that is what you get from my post then you obviously missed the point. I visited Vidor, for the first time in nearly five months, for Thanksgiving. It was front page news on the city newspaper. Obviously you don't see how the actions of a team, and misreporting, can affect tensions off the playing field. Or don't care. But trust me, if the teams were reversed it would of made national news.
  12. "You"? I think you'll find many people that believe Karma finally played out last night. Your coach was more concerned in teaching severance and division instead of sportsmanship. Whether it was done because Vidor beat them last year or because of a community's history that cannot be changed or erased, the Pirate team was never the problem. Actions have consequences and even "fake" commentary and spin from a local "reporter" cannot justify them. For the kids that spent countless hours of sweat and tears to show maturity and sportsmanship, I hate that your season ended early. For those that condone the leadership of the Titan's coaching staff, I can care less.
  13. But he sure knows how to coach "prevent" when it came to handshaking. Hope Pak is rolled up in a ball on the floor of his mama's room.
  14. Congrats Indians. Haters need to be in their own thread.
  15. Whole town of Temple gleaming because they know now they will advance to a second consecutive regional final.
  16. Pak... Go enjoy the fact your team is in the playoffs one more week. People hate you because of this crap. Let them enjoy their victory. Grow up child.
  17. Admirable performance against a more than worthy opponent. Hopefully Manvel will move on to 6A in the near future.
  18. Isn't it past your bedtime Pak? Make sure mama made your sandwich, crust cut off, for tomorrow. Don't forget your homework in your backpack. Bless his little soul. Quit trolling Vidor.
  19. At least they fought till the end. Great season Pirates.
  20. Why the heck are you going for it on 4th and 3 from YOUR 32. Is your coach trying to lose the game?
