  1. will be close if kville turns it over 5-6 times and gets 200 yds in penalties. Not being cocky...just sayin'.  ;D
  2. from the SFA grad of 96, I vote d-lineman Chis Reed!.We made it to #2 or #3 in state in 94/95.He was huge, ran a 4.4 or 4.5 if I remember correctly
  3. nice transitive property reference.Thought i was the only geek that loved sports.your right, it's about matchups.if team A beats team B. And Team B beats team C. Team A isn't always better than team C.Too many other variables involved. now i got a headache.
  4. I believe in sportmanship. Having said that, it is the defense's job to stop the offense, not the offense's. Coach keeps his A guys in untill they get the reps HE thinks they need. Kirbyville handled it with class as they have all year. Go Cats!!
  5. First Round.......I'm already saving vacation time for that trip to Cowboy's Stadium ;)
  6. fred fords stats are eaten up by two other excellent rbs.Ford ran 8 times last game.If it was about stats.Ford could have thrown up 400 against Huntington. But there is sportsmanship.Teams with a lack of defense, get involved with shoot-outs, and stats go crazy. Just not the case with Kville.Except for the game against the Cardinals and that spread option  :(
  7. we did have that one good year :D.i say "we",just lived in Lumberton for 4 years now.
  8. vidor, ozen, and lumberton will probably duke it out for last spot in district. I haven't watched ozen in person this year, but vidor and ltown i have. Both are very small for 4a squads. O-line and D-line that is.
  9. Lumberton is a little banged up.PN-G is waaaaay better then their record.Playing in all those hard-fought close games will help them in the weeks to come.
  10. good game to pad the stats. ford will probably sit 2nd half my guess.no dfferent than last year in 2a district games.Ford had amazing numbers last year, and pretty much only played 2 to 3 qrts.
  11. they are saying qb garrett has passed away.(possible seizure)(not from a hit)
  12. kville-35  bc-13 like Coach Stump said,"even the student trainers are fast."(referring to Kirbyville)will take a ton of mental errors for this one to be close. I wasn't going to drive from Lumberton to watch this, but reading all these posts makes me want to.
  13. who holds newton eagles to 6? what about coldspring? the defense needs a few props too
  14. left the game at half. barbers hill had size.lumberton o-line coudn"t do much for the run game. b.hill secondary giving up big plays
