Like Newton, can't go to Arlington with a 1 dimensional offense 3A and up. Get away with it in 2A, but not 3A+. WOS played as good as they could. This was not going to be a close game. Im a betting rooster and I would bet Surratt leaves. Which college assistant job he takes? IDK. But 11 rings. Incredible.

This 4A D1 district is soft. It is what it is. All 4 will lose next week and most of the games will be 14+ points if not more. At least you get the Playoff T-Shirt and the Bi-District Finalist banner.

With my Boona Cougars playing so bad, I decided to stay in Jasper Co and go see Silsbee and Jasper. What a game! Who needs defense? lol.... This is what high school football is all about. I thought it was a relatively a clean game by both teams and officials did a nice job. I don't know what chapter, but they handled it very well and the ref gave good thorough explanations especially on the clock runoffs late in the game. There were some head scratching offensive play calling on both sides, but one of the most exciting I've seen a few years.

Just got home from watching this game. Yeah they screwed the play up, but boy BC got a lot of calls their way and when the going got tough, LCM got tougher. BC struggling to beat HJ and Livingston last 2 weeks was an indicator that this team was running out of steam. Regardless, neither LCM or BC will beat Huffman.
