  1. OK... I was just going to keep it to myself, but after these remarks I'm going to have to throw it out there. Call me picky, but you need to tell who ever the well educated Kirbyville entity is that creates your program that it's your Freshman Football Team... not your Frashman Football Team. No telling how many people had to look over this before it was printed. Obviously, they all missed it. :
  2. 33 last week... More WOS Sub-Varsity: WOS 7th 22 Kville 7th 0 WOS 8th 46 Kville 8th 6
  3. Poo, Poo. Doo, Doo. Pee, Pee... it don't matter. K-Ville hasn't played a single team that could step on the field with Dayton (with Green) or Bay City. So we'll C U Friday. TTYL... RFLMAO... BFF :-* :-* :-*
  4. Why do you care???
  5. I think the game will be close as well. I think Kville will come out with quite a bit of emotion and may jump on us early. Hopefully, Mustang football will prevail and the second half will be ours... notice I said "hopefully".
  6. 90's Stephenville teams. They ran it like your supposed to. Running AND throwing.
  7. That's not an excuse, it's a fact. The field was soaked and it hampered both teams I think both sides will admit that it was a factor. That makes no sense at all... LOL :-[ Your entitled to your beliefs, at some point, though, you may want to ground them in reality.
  8. 1. Because Kville has yet to do it against much weaker opponents. 2. Do you remember the weather conditions of the LCM game? 3. Kville is not LCM.
  9. Good post Dawn!! I agree completely. We have all scratched our head a time or 2 over the play calling, but if you must say something, say it and let it go. Everyone gets frustrated, but harbouring all of this and repeatedly blowing up the boards over it is doing nothing but undermining what the ENTIRE coaching staff is trying to do. Friday night was a classic case of a young offense not executing. With a young team, sometimes you will take one step forward and two steps back. It doesn't mean squat that we only had 7 points at the half. It's a 4 quarter game and we scored 34. That's all that matters. This team will keep getting better and hopefully, will hit their peak at the right time. I also agree w/ S4L that it's good for teams (especially young ones) to struggle.
  10. Don't try to make it sound like that is at WOS only. I've been to games all over this area and it has happened at all of them. It is not good regardless of where you are, but don't try to make it sound like it's a WOS (only) problem.
  11. So, Kville gives up 20 to Liberty, but they are going to hold WOS to 7... rrrrright... :
  12. We hear this every year. It's a wonder how we still muster 9, 10, 11 wins a season... :
  13. In his first full game today Andre led Navarro JC to a 35-14 win. In the game he threw for 1 TD and ran for 3 more. This gives him 10 TD's in 6 quarters. I call that making the most of your opportunities. We are proud of you Dre!!! ;D
  14. I agree with this and is exactly what I'm afraid of. I do not agree with this statement. While I don't agree with the continuous negative sentiment about the OC on this board. I think it's pretty clear that the dissatisfaction is with one coach. Don't try and blow this into something it's not. That's no better than the folks that are running down the one coach in particular in front of the kids.
  15. I think all of these "guest" posters are the same person (or the same 2 people) in disguise.
  16. I saw nothing wrong with the play calling last night. Our sluggish offense was 100% a result of not executing. The plays were there, the OC can't step on the field and catch the pass for them OR put more air under the ball.
  17. So... what were you comparing when you said that Jasper AND Kville will beat WOS????? :P
  18. If you ever watched Briles Stephenville teams in the 90's, they did the same thing. Briles used his QB running a little more, but they were THE model for the spread offense.
  19. Good win by HF. I guess this was the game that the HF coach was refering to in the Enterprise article where he said "we've beat them in sub-varsity in the past". I guess he mean't the immediate past. Regardless of pickups, anytime you best a WOS squad you have done something. Congratulations.
  20. You're right SFA (I think we've discussed this before ???), most teams that you see lined up in the shotgun are not running the spread. If they are, they usually run half of it. You hardly ever see a team, at least around here, running the Art Briles spread offense.
  21. Jeremy is a good friend of my daughters and I am really glad to see him getting some attention. He is a great athlete and person. He is very humble, by talking to him, you would never know he was the football stud that he is. Best of luck to him, Kellen Free and the rest of the Bobcats!!
  22. I usually follow the WOS subvarsities and I do not ever remember us losing to HF in football.
