1. You think Kirbyville was the only team with most of the JV on varsity? You guys are crazy. Another year in the new offense and the defense will be just as good this year. Jasper wins, anyone who thinks it's gonna be a blowout by either team is sadly mistaken
2. That wasn't an opinion, last years score was something like this Jasper- Too much Kirbyville- Not Enough
3. Yeah same thing was said last year, Kirbyville has too much speed blah blah blah!! Didn't happen then I don't see anything changing. Now we can all laugh at you Kirbyville folks talking crazy as always.
4. Jasper will pull out a win again this year. More time in the new offense will help the Dogs. It will be about the same. I just want to know what you Kirbyville people are smoking, 3 touchdowns? Please!!!
5.

I heard rumors of attempted theft and fighting on the jasper side during a the kville game.  I emphasize rumors, though i have no reason to not believe the person i heard it from.
Then maybe it's not Jasper don't want to play Kirbyville,It could be Kirbyville don't want to play Jasper..Newton said the same thing about Jasper fighting after they played them...Sad..!!! :-\
As someone from Jasper, the behavior of some of the Jasper fans is despicable. Some of the "fans" were yelling and talking trash to the team at the Gilmer playoff game. I am glad I am on the sidelines and away from this sort of thing because not all but some of these people should be ashamed of how they act.

My favorite excuse from this year was they "let" Jasper win. ha ha ha.
I may be wrong but I dont recall that being said.  Now the fact that Kville had 7 turnovers and still only mamaged to lose by 9 says alot about how "good" Jasper was. ::)   It was told to me by someone from Kirbyville, it wasn't on here but it did happen.  ::)
7. Not only is he an outstanding football player, he is a good kid. Keep up the good work Caleb.
8. Preach on T-Daddy. My favorite excuse from this year was they "let" Jasper win. ha ha ha.
9. Jasper aint scared of a bunch of blowhards. By the way I enjoyed those 2A State Champions shirts someone printed up and passed out last week. Counted those chickens before they hatched.
10. Jasper will just create more turnovers and wear you down like this year.
11. The truth of the matter is that Arp scored sometime in the 4th quarter to get within a touchdown of winning 21-15. All they had to do was stop Kirbyville and score again. But the Wildcats ran it right down their throats in a drive that was a thing of beauty. After about two plays in that drive you knew that Arp's D wasn't up to the task. There was no doubt Kirbyville was the better team. Just an opinion from a Jasper fan on the sideline.  ;)
12. ::) You should have never let it come down to one play then. The record book and scoreboard say otherwise. Should have beat them by 10-points like Jasper and left no doubt.
13. When did Ernie Holmes play for Jasper? I thought he went to Wiergate.
14. Boy, if the players have that same mind set, they will be in for a rude of awakening. Its just a couple of miscues on offense that kept us from being underfeated this year. Yeah that Bulldog defense is a big miscue, McGill is an intercepting machine.
15. With all do respect I have to disagree, I am a Jasper fan first and was just down covering this game since the Dogs were off. To say that was the best Kirbyville could play is an insult to Kirbyville, they were far from perfect and I have seen them play lots better. They had their share of mistakes as well, fumbles and dumb penalties hurt them. They went toe to toe with the Mustangs and West Orange was lucky to leave with a win. Were both teams perfect? No. So give the Wildcats some credit.
16. Get off your high horse, they play Jasper next week. Not saying Jasper can win but they proved better than Kirbyville Friday night.
17. I agree with Trophyman, Jasper did their talking on the field. There is no need to rub it in, best of luck to the Wildcats this Friday.
18. If they are raw maybe you can get some kind of powder from the pharmacy to help that.
19. Jasper holds on to the ball and the game, comes out with the win 21-14
20. He was coaching last night. Not sure what he coaches but he was on the sideline last night.
21. On the sideline in Nac, taking pictures of the Dogs.
22. I was standing right by the ref and asked him what he was looking at. No doubt he got in. It was tied who would have went on and won is anyones guess, but Jasper had the momentum at that point.
23. I started out covering Burkeville for the Jasper Newsboy when they last went to State. I have nothing but great respect for Coach Harper, a class guy all the way.
24. I don't know anything about Nail but I have been having fun coming up with headlines. ;D
