I've never done the Texan Live. I guess I can listen live on Google Chrome? I can't sit down and watch it because of the kids, so I have to listen.

Splendora was beating Hamshire-Fannett 27-13 at half and lost 34-30. Just interested to find out what kind of adjustments if any Hamshire-Fannett made.

Lol ok! You're right because if there was a game I know I would have heard about it. Thought maybe it could have been a scrimmage.

I saw on maxpreps where Vidor played Vinton and lost 6-0. Is this true? I didn't even hear about the game.

Pirates Over the Wildcats 26-10

I have special needs twins and I will never have a kid on the team. I just love going to the games along with my son. We love the atmosphere and we love to support our hometown which happens to be the Pirates. As a side note Coach Mathews let my son lead the pirates out of the tunnel. That was about 4 years ago. That had a big impact on him because he talks about it like it was yesterday. So I guess I'm a little partial towards my Pirates. I'm just telling everyone why I enjoy Friday night's.

My father-in-law says that he can't stand High School sports because there's too many mistakes. To a point he's right there can be a lot of mistakes sometimes but I love the atmosphere and how hard the kids try. Which is why in this game whoever makes the most mistakes I don't think they will be able to come back from it because it's going to be that close. I believe my Pirates will pull it out!

Hi everyone! I've been following these discussions for years and finally decided to sign up. I graduated in 1999 from Vidor High School and I love my Pirates! I think this is going to be a really good game! I wish I could be there in person but I will be on vacation. I plan on listening to the whole thing on the radio. Good luck! Go pirates!!!
