  1. Field is pretty tore up in Liberty even before the game. Steadily getting worse as the game goes on
  2. No doubt! The Water Boy's will be busy supplying high quality H20 in this one
  3. This game may well be over while most teams are finishing the third Qtr and it should be a low scoring game . Liberty played a lot of teams in our district tight last year and some say they are a better team this year. If Orangefield limits turnovers to a bare minimum and our secondary holds then I can see OF winning with a 2 score lead.
  4. LCM did not soundly beat OF in the scrimmage even with OF missing starters due to COVID. I believe Ashworth, Whitman, and at least one other were out. If you are using that scrimmage to justify how good LCM is then you are in for a rude awakening when you play Livingston. I’m watching the scrimmage right now and I don’t see anything impressive by either team other than they are exchanging scores. LCM has an advantage on our 2nd team bc of their depth at most positions but still no signs of being dominated still exchanging scores. Trying to determine how good either team is during the first scrimmage of the season is difficult especially when coaches are experimenting with ppl at different positions and with plays etc jmo.
  5. Is Dodd healthy for this game? From what I recall he didn’t play much after the half last week
  6. Right now you need to concentrate on what’s important and that is ….. Is Liberty better than Silsbee?
  7. Yeah we suffered a little PTSD from playing them last year
  8. Oh come on now….. you know “The Falls” is still Vidor territory 😁. You still got to go 2 miles til you get to God’s country 😂
  9. Well I respectively disagree with you because strength and conditioning has a lot to due to football success. Orangefield isn't one of those schools that has the luxury of not having players start both ways but their intensity is the same in the 1st qtr as it is in the 4th. AND if yall need a trailer house moved over there just come to our fieldhouse 😉
  10. I believe he was referring to #32 Hunter Ashworth which is their FB. If he gets untouched for 3 yards then it is going to take half the team to take him down due to his strength. If you seen him play you would understand the statement. He is also explaining why the blocking is effective this year. You did ask what's up with OF. #40 Dischler has greatly improved and he is awesome to watch in the backfield. Not to mention the passing game has greatly approved.
  11. I agree and I said the same thing last year that I would like to see it happen especially with this Sr squad. Our coaches are friendly and they like this Slot T Mafia theme but it would be an interesting game to see this years teams go at it. Maybe we can make it a Slot T Bowl game? Meanwhile do us a favor and avenge us by beating Livingston 😁
  12. Last year was the first year we played BC in like seven years. BC thought they were going to dominate the district last year and set themselves up for a rude awakening. They were shutout by OF by 21+ points last year and beat them seven years before as well. The Bayou Bowl trophy has looked well in our trophy case. As far as WOS .... who did they not handle in district last year?
  13. Just how many times have they actually played each other in a game. OF and LCM usually scrimmage each other in recent years and I promise you they haven’t always dominated
  14. Believe you are confused bc myself and Bobcat.23 are referring to something totally different than you are.
  15. The decision to throw the ball to set up the game winning field goal was a great call because we had to get the ball down the field quickly. Our passing game has improved a lot and it is another weapon in our arsenal. But I don’t necessarily agree passing the ball when not necessary deep on the side of our field with a team with speed that already is averaging about one interception a game. I wasn’t at the game and I assume the defense was in a coverage that was favorable for the passing game. Just made me nervous with our field position at that time. It was a great game and I wish I was there to have witnessed it in person instead of work but since then I’ve listened to both live broadcast and watched the game footage. Very impressive win for the players and coaches
  16. It wasn’t a complaint. I was listening to the game on the radio because I was working nights. I was asking a question bc I didn’t catch every play. I was wondering if we were having a problem that I was unaware of moving the ball on the ground. Luckily I will not miss any other games and I will see for myself
