I’d still say BH is the favorite. They just have so many girls who play club compared to us. We’ll see how it comes together next week. I caught a little of their team camp this week though. Looking pretty good so far! I think: 1. BH 2. Crosby 3. Sterling 4.Nederland 5. PNG 6. GCM 7. Lee 8. PAM

Setter/right side and pin hitter I believe. Should help us round out the rotation with our returners. We’ll see how it comes together next week! Also, I don’t know much about Bridge City but I know one of their girls came to Stellar this year where my daughter plays. Actually, several girls from our area moved there this year.

Thanks! I agree about the up in talent this year. Kate knows a lot of the girls around district from club or knows of them if not personally. She has those games marked in her mind. She loves playing against good players and there’s definitely more this year than last. One of our transfers came from BCA and is a junior and the other is a sophomore from California I think.

LOL That’s my kid. She had a great club season and we expect a big school season for her. We also have a couple of transfers with talent and a few good upperclassman returning. Should be fun to see how it comes together.

Switch out Crosby and Nederland and I think you’ve got it right. I think we’re going to surprise some people this season.

Texas City won 3-2 😥

Friendswood is definitely top team here. They only lost 1 set in district last year. Santa Fe will be 2nd, then a fight for 3rd and 4th between Crosby, Texas City and GCM.

Big week for Crosby! We'll face Texas City on Tuesday and from all I hear, they're much improved. Then Ball on Wednesday and the big one, Friendswood on Friday. We'll see what we're made of...🤞

First time posting. As a volleyball parent I just wanted to say thank you to those that do post updates from our area. Other parts of town get good coverage/support for their volleyball programs. I tend to think that is because their football teams aren't as strong. LOL My knowledge is limited to what area my girls play, but I will start posting game updates at the very least.
