I agree. I really think that the overall team athletecism for LV will be too much for LT. When I think of LV I think of a top notch 5A team. But with that said, LT has beaten top notch 5A teams. So it should be a close game. LV by a field goal.

well of course they'll use Jace, but they'll also be using my homeboy Shane McQueen (greased lighting) and Ryan Young our outstanding runningback, just no that if Dayton focuses on blocking our passing game, we'll run it in the in-zone, and vice/versa. They'll have the best chance having a well rounded defensive setup, i probably shouldn't be giving pointers to the enemy so ill shut up now lol Oh and from what I know Jace has been looking at Baylor i think And a little something, Our star QB Tyrick Rollison needs to work on his grades before he should think about a DI school, the reason he couldn't play Basketball is because he failed. And SS is the visitor again to answer that other guys question, we've amazingly been visitors 6 times in a row Hmmmm ???

Hey thats okay, they all worry me! But how cool is it to be worried about a STATE CHAMPIONSHIP game!!! SS has some great athletes and a very good team no doubt. But so do we. Irony has a funny way of working itself into the big games. Ala a field goal to win the semis. Who would have thought. So look for more surprises in Alamodome. After the Friendswood game, I thought the defense might be our downfall this year. But now, it's our savior! Look for the defense to make a key stop or a big play to win a close one. Dayton Broncos win 42 - 35!

Great post Jayhawk! I experienced the same thing with most of the Tivy fans. I really was impressed by the display of good sportsmanship at the end of the game. Man I really felt for their team and fans. To lose a game like that has to be the worst way to go out. Two evenly matched teams that fought to the end. Wow what a game!

Tivy fight never dies huh? That's a real cute motto. Get that one from the cheerleaders? So eighties..ish. Doesn't a grown man feel kinda funny saying that all the time? Look tivyalumni, did it ever occur to you that most of the Bronco fans have researched the antlers, and could it be that we're just not overly impressed? This ain't our first trip to the playoffs. It's been my experience that the ones who "talk" loudest, are usually the ones shaking in their boots. The football gods did not give this year to Tivy.

Looks like this game could come down to defensive execution. And maybe a turnover here and there. I still don't think their defense is any better than the ones we've already faced. No reason to believe our O line won't be able to open up the running game which in turn will open it up for AJ. Just my opinion.

Sorry Friendswood no disrespect, as this is a LT vs. FW thread. I actually think that FW will give LT a good game....the toughest they've had so far, but in the end it will be Longview.

Okay someone out there remember I said this. Longview wins the D1 state title this year. Lake Travis is a great team, but those Longview athletes are just too much.

What the heck! Why in the world wouldn't they communicate (D1 & D2) and have both games in the same location. I can see if Waco was in the finals maybe the other team would want a neutral location, but thats not the case here. If it's good enough for 5A why not 4A? Even the semis. I think most people would like to see two games if their gonna drive that far. I swear..... these people!!
