  1. I know of their HC (how can you not with all the social media) but who else is on the staff other than the guy from shepherd who is pretty good?
  2. Cleveland is growing quickly too, how is that working out for them? "Growing quickly" does not mean "they have a lot more talent". I am not saying Splendora wont win, I actually think the could blow Liberty out, I just do not see this one being a close game, no matter the winner.
  3. Splendora has beat them twice in the past 10 years. Last year by 3 and in 2009 by 1. During that same time Liberty won one game 48-0 and won another game by 21 and another by 14. If it’s a blowout, history says it’s Liberty.
  4. I dont think it is a close game either. I just dont know who wins.
  5. Buddy you cash in on the free ticket and popcorn at least?
  6. I do think Lee is for real, BUT they have not played anyone just yet. Splendora could easily be 0-2 and probably should be. Had Splendora lost last week nobody would be impressed by this win. Splendora has played about 7 bad bad quarters of football thus far and Lee has played 8 really really good quarters. Thoughts?
  7. Thursday, Friday, Saturday... Where is everyone headed?
  8. Excited for this one. Hopefully it is as good (competitive) as Katy North Shore was last night.
  9. Should be a pretty good game, thoughts?
  10. LCM in a high scoring bout. Unfortunately, I think that’s how all the games will be for the bears this year, entertaining nonetheless.
  11. Ding ding ding. If they are going to be in the top 10 then that is the correct spot for them. Aside from that I don’t think they could hang within four touchdowns against any of those other teams. I would love to see any of the top 9 teams square off. I would also love to see teams 11-20, does anyone outside of splendora have any connections with Texan live that can get us the 11-20 list.
  12. [Hidden Content] Share your thoughts before I share mine. I have one glaring issue.
  13. tough stretch...LCM...huffman...lumberton.... could lose all three and need to win to get in at bridge city. I could also see them finishing atop the standings as co-champions if they take two of those three.
  14. two tough road games in district, i feel like if they split those two... they are at least co-district champions. could be playing the bears for the championship to end the season.
  15. I like huffman and lumberton finishing up top then splendora and lcm 3-4. dont know the order of the top of the bottom. 1/2 huffman lumberton 3/4 splendora lcm
  16. Pretty good for sure, thanks. I’ll be looking into it this year to see how A&M Consolidated, Sunnyvale and Poth do this season.
  17. Can we get some records last year?
  18. As far as athletes are concerned.... Carroll has one of the best safeties in the country (Clemson commit RJ Mickens). A&M Consolidated has a 3-star WR committed to OU (Brian Darby), another uncommitted 3-star WR (Devin Price) and an uncommitted 3-star CB (Nate Floyd). Pleasant Grove has a 3-star RB committed to BYU (Bruce Garrett). The other three teams have no kids that have been rated for the 2020 class.
  19. Would be interested to see if ANY team wins both championships. I see teams win 7 on 7 and then never even see them ranked during football season.
  20. Does anyone follow the 7 on 7 state tournament? I know the championships were today, but I was interested to see if there is any correlation between 7 on 7 state champions and actual football state championships. Has anyone seen a correlation in the years past? I will be looking into it this year.
