1. My goal for the program is to make the conference tournament and work from there.
2. Matt Cross would have given the program little to no buzz.  People in Port Arthur didn't care about Lamar PA.  Lets monitor Cross's career before we give him the keys to a D1 programs
3. You better go to the game because you probably will miss most of the game on Fox 4.
4. All the fans I see were great despite the score.  Dont let a few bad fans stop you from going the game.
5. What they do in the next game will determine how people will view this game.  If they get blasted by Sam Houston then people will say they have been figured out and the sky is falling.  I admit that some fans not all have jumped the gun.  We won two games and lost two games now.  People are ready to expand the stadium after a close game with McNeese and two ugly wins.  I think we need to concentrate on winning the Southland and keeping the stadium full that we have now. Lets see how full the stadium will be in two years.  The new car smell will wear off of Lamar Football so lets just be happy with what we have.
6. The QB for SFA was very good, he hit receivers on the money most of the time.  I agree the officiating was horrible.  The first interception was pass interference.  They threw a flag for pass interference and picked it up.  As a coach you can tell when its going to be a long night with the refs.  This can cause you to get blown out because it can get you out of the game early.
7. We are missing plays. How do you miss the opening kickoff and a kickoff and the first play of the drive.  Get it together please.
Duh.  there are no tv timeouts you moron.
so you telling me because there are no tv timeouts you cant time it to where we can see the opening kickoff.  I guess im a moron
8. THey could run it every play and score every drive.  Not to mention the QB for SFA is crazy accurate.  WE will get them next year.
9. Nothing is working. And when something works its a penalty!

11. I also attended the scrimmage and i would have to say WB is very small on offense and defense.  Two receviers played good #6 and #9.  Next weeks game could be close if Ozen can withstand the first few punches WB throws.  WB defense will hurt them down the road.  I can see Katy setting a Butch stadium record for points scored!!!!!!!
12. Ok i see what you mean.  I went to a game two years ago and they waited and resumed the game once the weather was clear.  The game ended at midnight.
13. U.I. L. Recommendations for Lightning Safety     * Establish a chain of command that identifies who is to make the call to remove individuals from the field.     * Name a designated weather watcher (A person who actively looks for the signs of threatening weather and notifies the chain of command if severe weather becomes dangerous).     * Have a means of monitoring local weather forecasts and warnings.     * Designate a safe shelter for each venue. See examples below.     * Use the Flash-to-Bang count to determine when to go to safety. By the time the flash-to-bang count approaches thirty seconds all individuals should be already inside a safe structure. See method of determining Flash-to-Bang count below.     * Once activities have been suspended, wait at least thirty minutes following the last sound of thunder or lightning flash prior to resuming an activity or returning outdoors.     * Avoid being the highest point in an open field, in contact with, or proximity to the highest point, as well as being on the open water. Do not take shelter under or near trees, flagpoles, or light poles.     * Assume that lightning safe position (crouched on the ground weight on the balls of the feet, feet together, head lowered, and ears covered) for individuals who feel their hair stand on end, skin tingle, or hear "crackling" noises. Do not lie flat on the ground.     * Observe the following basic first aid procedures in managing victims of a lightning strike:           o Activate local EMS           o Lightning victims do not "carry a charge" and are safe to touch.           o If necessary, move the victim with care to a safer location.           o Evaluate airway, breathing, and circulation, and begin CPR if necessary.           o Evaluate and treat for hypothermia, shock, fractures, and/or burns.     * All individuals have the right to leave an athletic site in order to seek a safe structure if the person feels in danger of impending lightning activity, without fear of repercussions or penalty from anyone.
14. The bigger question would be who would charge more for the game Lamar or BISD.It would probably cost less for BISD.  As I said earlier AD's stick together they have meetings together all year long.  When teams decide on where they play who do you think makes the call on where they play.  BISD would have to be booked for three or four games before Lamar would see a game. And that would include one game on Friday night of a playoff weekend plus the three games on Saturday.
