Logically anyone who has lived here for any period of time would know that Hooks would never cancel a game unless he had too. So try some logic that makes sense and maybe it will work. Just because there was not a forfeit doesn't mean Hooks agreed.

Well I would tend to agree with WOS08 that he would not try to make them forfeit, but I can guarantee you Hooks did just say, you are right I agree we should not play the game. If you think that your off your rocker!!

How do you know that Hooks agreed, have you talked to him or someone on the coaching staff yourself? Or have you just heard that he agreed?

I think it also says unless it is a weather related incident, then one coach can cancel

One more thing bigswitch, with an avatar like that, you should show alittle more class, you know, like the man in the picture did! The man in the picture had a great deal of class, just because I state my opinion doesn't mean I don't have class. I bet he would not have backed out of a game.

You should stop posting rumors! Why should he play on two days of prep? Let the team move on to BC and you give the smack on Moody a rest! Or better yet, send in your resume in for head coach and lets see what you've got. Give it a couple of years and I will be putting in my resume. I can guarantee that!

Think about it if you were the LC-M head coach and your record was 8 and 20 over the last 3 years and you wanted to leave, wouldn't you do anything to avoid another loss on your record. He is having a hard time getting a job, I heard that he applied for about 30 jobs this past summer and got turned down for even a JV head coaching job. He is trying to salvage his record so maybe some sucker will hire him next year. Unfortunately to avoid more losses he should hope for a hurricane every week. It is sad that the kids have worked their but off for this man and he doesn't have enough confidence in them to let them play and see what happens.

He is most likely looking for any way out he can find. Hope it gets played on Sat. night.

It is called physical football, something most people don't play any more. As long as the ball is not in the air you can have your hands on the receiver, you can push, pull, knock them to the ground whatever. He definitely didn't hold him all night, #9 is one of the fastest kids in the area.
