  1. That's seems like a tight schedule. I don't remember how long it took at WOS. Didn't BC start the morning after the last game? The last thing you want is a rush job and issues that could arise. Only thing is maybe the groundwork was prepared when the stadium was built. Anyway... keep an eye on the Dawgs. They been regulary playing on turf for a while too.
  2. I understand... kinda nice that WOS could make an appearance in a playoff thread. Especially since our friends over the bridge made an early exit. Just jokes. We can't talk to much smack after this past disappointing season. Lol OF still in it to rep the OC. Go Bobcats!
  3. Out of all the prospects he could've recommended. He did. T has always been able to spot talent. Brought in many coaches to learn from his knowledge and experience. H must be a quick study. Says alot about a man that can earn the respect of his boss to carry on the traditions set by 40+ years of hard work building the winningest program in the great state of Texas. Mustangs 112% Last year... this year... and beyond. Get used to to it if you haven't already.
  4. Thanks, I was thinking we went back to back in 16 too. Anderson and JD3 were pretty good. 74 was actually before the school's merged. So I don't count that one for WOS.
  5. I agree with this 112%. Kids and schools are the first priority. Nothing but love for the coaches that left. Without them we wouldn't be where we are today. Good or bad. Other than a questionable DC hire. He is putting together a decent supporting cast. We'll know more once they hit the field in the fall. Nederland's up for the challenge in the first game. Could be a repeat of the last time CT was absent.
  6. Astros been on a bit of a roll, winning 8 in a row. Verlander has been on point after returning from TJ. Last night he had a no hitter into the 8th. [Hidden Content]
  7. I saw a few of the times when Greg Kerr went off script. And I was glad to see someone with a lil journalist integrity. The look on Murphy's face when they cut to her was priceless
  8. I remember when vape starting getting popular. Videos of them things exploding in people's pockets. Not so much anymore. All technology has a learning/using curve
  9. All this hype and still no comments? Where's the @catturd tweets?
  10. What does this mean for industrial expansion in Orange county? The new plant off 87 and new green entergy plant off 1442. As well as the new plant in newton county. Anyone?
  11. Comedic relief, "tied" for baseball state championships with most of OC? Plus we just renamed our field, so look out next season. WOSdrummer99
  12. There's 4 other HS here in OC. Please don't lump us all in with BC.
  13. Also interesting was the govt plane, from whatever organization, flying a recon pattern over them at 45000 ft. Bigelow already figured it out.
  14. Selfish... we see it starting early for those student athletes with above average talent. Then the transfer portal, then demanding a trade. I'd bet it's the $$$ the family sees in their Lil Johnny Powerball. Not the coach who can mold a man from a lump of teenager. Whatever happened to honoring a commitment to a school, coach, or team? Nope, everyone for themselves now days. I wonder how many UIL transfers for solo sports like golf or tennis?
  15. You have a way with words that I've always admired brother. Im gonna pencil u in for speech writer. And @Hagar can be my minister of truth, because ^that^ was it. Thank you both.
  16. Once upon a time... a coach got a historically talented and winning team without experience? As long as @Reagan is not his boss, your friend will be in the right place when he gets there. Trust the process.
  17. I believe you are wanting it separated like how "setx youth sports" is with select baseball and select softball being subforums? Good luck getting it changed. We are still looking at 2021 HS football. And even 20-21 for other activities/band. Im sure they're still looking for someone to step up and fill the big shoes left when Wosgrad passed.
  18. We went when the movie came out, took the same tour. In 2016, I went to reunion tower. Its an amazing vantage point of the plaza. They have interactive touch screens that can control the cameras outside the observation deck. It would even overlay the path of the motorcade and the trajectory of the bullets. It's definitely questionable. It's a must see for anyone, not just history lovers. Check it out if you get to chance.
  19. [Hidden Content] Oswald must've been good to hit both targets. The magic bullet that only wounded LBJ's buddy was a smart too. Don't forget Jack Brooks was there on the plane when LBJ was sworn in.
