  1. My guess is that these three areas are the biggest depth concern. I no real order! 1. DB 2. O-line 3. RB
  2. Well, I counted P. Shultz as one of the 4-5 returning contributors. He's out with an injury. He would have started this year. N. Vidrine quit football to concentrate on baseball. He was a starter last year but I didn't bother even counting him as one of the returning starters I counted. Beyond that, all healthy on D as far as I know.
  3. PN-G doesn't have that many returning starters. About 5-6 off the top of my head. But they have another 4-5 that were pretty regular contributors.
  4. Well, I found several other articles in the Port Arthur News referencing PN-G having the number one D in district last year in several catogories including points against, total yards against, and #1 against the rush. Just didn't feel like putting links to a bunch of articles up here!
  5. [Hidden Content] Hers a link to an article written Gabriel Pruett at the end of last years season. It states in the column that, " The Indians gave up a 22-5A best 262.3 yards per game in 2015 through 10 games. The next best team was Beaumont Central, who allowed 290.7 yards per game in the regular season." There's your total yards per game!

  7. I believe #1 in points allowed, total yards allowed, and rushing yards allowed.
  8. If I remember correctly, PN-G had the districts #1 ranked defense last year. And I think it was by a pretty good margin.
  9. He’s doing better. Indecisive at times, sometimes holds the ball too long and occasionally throws the ball into coverage. But his arm strength is getting better. He’s coming along! Bost still throws the ball a little better but Roschon will do damage with his legs as well. The receivers looked great!
  10. Yes, and considering we were pretty short handed once again, (No Lejeune, No Bost) and Jacob Vaughan, probably our best corner, was only there for the first game and a half. They did very well!!!
  11. PN-G lost 38-35 to Richmond Foster in the last 15 seconds.
  12. PN-G lost 38-35 to Richmond Foster in the last 15 seconds.
  13. My halftime score was incorrect. It was PN-G 21-20 at half. It is now 32-28 RF with 5:00 to go!
  14. It was 19-12. PN-G is down 22-21 at half to Richmond Foster.
  15. PN-G is 2-0 Beat Stratford 42-40 in (3) overtimes. Beat Katy Taylor 19-12.
  16. They also had a bunch of players that could not attend and were short handed.
  17. Had another injury last week to another very good PN-G starter. Linebacker Parker Shults.
