1. Bridge City has the talent, the heart and the desire so it should be a good game
??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
Don't remember the fight in the end zone??
Actually I don't, but if it did happen, it takes two to tango.
No sir, it does not.  The ENTIRE coldspring team, coaches and all ran into the end zone.  You didn't see BC do that.  Either way...here's hoping for a good, fair and well-played game!!

 5. ;D I'd like to give a HUGE thank you to the coaches of the Bridge City Senior Tackle team.  Our team has done so well this year and a large part of the credit for that goes to all of you. I wanted each of you to know that your work, your dedication and your passion for the sport has not gone unnoticed nor unappreciated.  You've also taught our guys to play with grace and humility and taught them that behavior and grades are EVERY bit as important as what they do on the field and I thank you all!
 6. I am deeply saddened to have heard about the death last night of two beautiful little girls who were both NYFA Cheerleaders.  I offer my condolences to both the NYFA and the parents of Cristin and Katie.  They and their families are in my thoughts and prayers.
 7.
I just love how some of us buy the concession items, unload it , cook it, sell it, pick it up off the ground and the parking lot and some of us just complain about what we run out of or what we don't have that they want!  Jump on the work truck, we'd be happy to let you drive for a while!
hear hear from one who has done all of the above!!  ;D
 8.
Last year Nederland Black was in the #3 spot behind Lum. Blue and Lum. White,   Lum. Blue had already beaten Ned. Black 28-19? and Lum. White had also beaten Black 29-16?, both scores made the games appear some what close but they were not, both Lum. teams had won soundly. Nederland Black came back to beat both teams, Blue in the semi's 34-6 and White 26-6 to win their 2nd straight superbowl title, and beat both soundly, anything can happen. If Black played each team 10 times I think Lumberton(both) would win more than they lost, but it's about rising up for the challenge, Can we win today. These teams are close enough in tallent (BC,PNG,WOS,Lum) that the team that really is better prepared to play this saturday will win.
football04 is ABSOLUTELY correct, it's anyone's game to win or to lose, it all will come down to who is the most prepared mentally and physically because all four are formidable teams!! ;)
 9.
Bridge City vs Lumberton Blue ??? PNG Purple vs WOS ???
I pick BC - Lumberton Blue has improved tremendously during the season, but so has BC and we have beaten Lumberton once before.  So....here's hoping for a repeat.  I think it will be a good game too, Lumberton will give BC a good run for their money! PNG Purple has an awesome team too, so I have to go with them!
 10. ok, for the record, COOLERS, ICE CHESTS, SNACKS ARE ALLOWED FOR PLAYERS AND CHEERLEADERS ONLY!!  For personal use they are prohibited, which means no one BUT the players/cheerleaders should have any food or drinks brought in.  Now no one is unreasonable, if there is a medical reason for carrying the food/beverages, no problem.  If it's just you don't want to buy the food/beverages or don't like the selection, tough.  Wait until after your game, no game lasts longer than two hours.  As to not liking the selection - have you ever gone to a restaurant and asked to bring a coke in because they served pepsi products and you didn't want them?  I think not, just handle it just like you would anywhere else.  All concession stands offer a variety of drinks/foods.
 11. WOS....get ready, you will need to serve steak, baked potatoes, desserts, gourmet coffees and teas at your game...God forbid you serve 'concession stand type food' prepared by volunteers at YOUR games.  Does anyone hear the sarcasm in my statements, 'cause I am laying it on kinda thick to benefit misguided, misinformed 'people' (I'll be nice) here. Seriously...WOS always has a great concession stand, keep up the good work!
 12. PNG 26 - Lumberton White 6,  BC 48 - Nederland White 6.  I'd like to also say that the Nederland White team is a great group of kids!!  After the game was over, my son (who is on BC's senior team) was helping me finish out the day at Orangefield and some of the Nederland White players walked past him on the way out of the stadium and more than one told him good luck next weekend which I thought was super classy of them and spoke highly of their character.  I wish more kids were like that, they are a credit to themselves, their parents and their coaches!!!
 13.
but everyone has a problem with people bringing in food/drinks for the fans at a youth football event when we need every penny.  I don't. If someone is bringing in food, it's for a reason. They can't afford to eat out or maybe they prefer something else. Whatever the reason, too few do it for it to be an issue.
LOL, ok tragichippy, I stand corrected.  The individual associations have a problem with it, not everyone.  read my last post, it may clear what I am saying up.  Thanks!
