Chemistry was fine after the cleansing. That is why they won 9 of the last 12 games and come in second place, with 2 of the loses comimg against the defending state champs which happen to be ranked #1 in the state. No team in the district are the area finished with better team chemistry than this team did. They played there hearts out for there coach and for each other. Instead of listening to hear say, ask any of them personally. Self inflicted it was not.

Hawkeye....While you are right about PNG's 4 first round loses it is a bit misleading: The 4 loses cover a span of 18 years dating back to 1994. PNG has advanced to the 2nd round 12 times during that span. So they are 12 - 4. PNG also has the longest current streak during of making the playoffs 15 straight years with LCM next at 9. Vidor on the other hand didn't reach the playoffs till 2007 and are 0 - 4 in advancing. Not meaning to diminish Vidors success, just putting it into perspective.

There was conversation between the umpire and player prior to this taking place. I am sure the umpire took all this into consideration before the ejection.

What's hard to believe. That he got tired driving to Lumberton everyday for 7 years and that he wanted to be closer to home and work in the same district that his wife works in and that his children go to school in. Not that hard to belive! Plus get to work with a good friend who happens to be a pretty good coach at a pretty good school with a pretty good tradition. Real hard to believe!

Yes, he played at TJ for Coach Jagneaux and was on the State Championship team. So he has played on a team that has won it all and coached 4 years with a coach who has been to the Stae Tournament 4 times.

Games 24x7, it is funny because the players I have talked to are all for Coach Brevell taking over and would love to play for him, makes me wonder who it is you are talking to, maybe a bunch of 8th graders. yes, Faircloth is also a baseball guy and will make the right decision. If you have someone you want to support, that is fine, but no need to bash Coach Brevell. He has done nothing but bust his butt for that team since he has been there.
