What a great game last night Lion defense really stepped up in the scond half and what can u say about Dustin Harris two outstanding scrambles for scores looks like 1st team all district QB to me. Sorry about this newbie crashing yall's 20-4A party but come on guys we deserve it haven't won a district title in 55 years. One more thing when you talk about great area coaches I think you have to include Randy Rowe his resume includes a deep playoff run at Cleveland and several deep playoff runs at 5A nimitz. But his best accomplisment has to be turning around a dismal Lion program DISTRICT 20-4A CHAMPS are kidding me who would have thunk it.

Livingston and Central freshman had to play a controlled scrimmage no officials showed up to call the game, hope they show up tommorow night. It is understandable if it was the same crew we had in Nederland I can see how they would have trouble finding Beaumont!!!

Prior to the arrival of native son coach Randy Rowe the Livingston Lions had been to the playoffs just one time in almost fifty years, if we can finish the deal this year it will make the third trip in coach Rowe's five years in Lion country. So forgive us if we seem a little overly excited by being able to defeat some of the best programs the state has to offer in 20-4A. The players, coaches, and fans have been first rate on all our trips to the golden triangle this season, we really enjoy competing in this district. That being said I really can't figure out what to expect Friday night against Central, the Jags could only manage two second half field goals against Ned and Livingston scored on every second half possession against Ned. But the Central defense held Ned to 10 points and they hung fifty on us. Should be very interesting to say the least.
