This is truly a Goliath(PNG) vs. David(Livingston) matchup I mean you guys have it all tradition,facilities, a fancy new offense, a coach from Permian, and a large fan base. Little ole Livingston is over here with just an old fashioned offense,not many fans,and a broken down old stadium you guys should be ashamed if you do loose. After all look what your stadium did for ya'll last year!!!!!!!!

Amen! great post here it is very true we would love a new stadium. We just got a new high school, plan is to keep winning football games build some excitement and when we can afford it build a new stadium, Note on the playing surface. The grass is usually in decent shape grass was infested with insects this summer school has even hired a consultant to try and get it back to at least decent again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok guys I know I might get in trouble for letting the cat out of the bag, but I just can't handle all this one dimensional stuff. The Lions will unveil a secret weapon this week they have been spending at least 20 minutes every practice working on a five wide spread attack and word is they plan to use it almost exclusively against the Indians. I almost forgot one other thing the Lions have a big wideout that has been injured all year 6'5" and runs a 4.4 he was cleared to play this week buy coaches elected to hold him out of Ozen game. So I really hope the Indians spend all week working on stopping the run, they will be in for a big surprise Friday night in "The Jungle"

Well here we go big game coming up I only hope we can focus on the football game this week and not our lack of facilities. We know they are lacking and folks here in Livingston want a new stadium as much as you guys want us to be able to accomodate your fans. From what I have seen so far the Lions have proved they were not a one man Dustin Harris show but rather one heckuva of a program that will come to play every Friday night. This one is a tough one pick could go either way team that limits mental errors will win a close one JMO!!!!!!

I can't comment on the announcer I don't hear much from the PA because I'm doing the radio call and can't hear with the head sets on. Sounds like she may have gotten a little carried away but hell so did I. As for the playoffs mostly I agree with your picks but I would also include PNG in the mix. If it is true that Lumberton has one of the better run defenses in the district then the Lions should be able to score enough points to secure a playoff spot.

Congrats to the Raiders and all their loyal fans what a great game between two well coached football teams. I know our facilities are not the best but we had many needs to address since the arrival of coach Rowe and we have accomplished the most important passing a bond for a new high school and establishing a winning football program and hopefully in the not too distant future we will get a new stadium. I was so proud of the Lions effort last night against a good Lumberton squad and I promise you the Livingston Lions will come to play every Friday night for the rest of the 20-4A schedule. They will do their part to make 20-4A one of the most competitive district races in the state good luck to everyone and remember the people of Livingston have nothing but respect for the passion for football in southeast Texas. As far as all those predictions of Livingston finishing next to last in 20-4A I hope were laid to rest last night. Lionfan
