I'm pretty sure we'll see a much improved product on the field next season from the horns and aggies. Neither team is where they want to be. It's going to be interesting how both finish the 2016 season and what happens with their respective head coaches. Charlie bought himself a little more time with this recent recruiting class. At least one more season. Aggie won't be happy with a 4th place sec finish. Who gets axed first? Sumlin or Charlie?

5 sec schools in the top 10. That's great for that fan base, but the gap between those top 5 and the rest of the league begins to grow.

OK here goes. What I actually did on this topic was to cast the bait and see who bit. You can pretty much count on one fan base to take it hook, line, and sinker. At times, it's just too easy. It's all in good fun. The season can't get here soon enough.

ATM wants to close the gap and compete with the top teams in their conference and eventually win a championship. Nothing wrong with that. All I was making reference to was the top tier programs in the sec west specifically are widening that gap and will be hard to beat. That is all.

A certain school at some point today was said to be extremely happy with their 8th place conference ranking.

Wasn't gonna go here today, but: If you haven't been on top since, let's say 1939, I doubt if you have any idea how on how far a team has fallen.

Maybe, just maybe, the success Texas has had today IS because these kids and parents BELIEVE in Coach Strong and what he stands for, and the direction the Longhorns are headed. 'Shark' getting ready to announce his decision. If he chooses Texas over ATM, I wonder what the response will be... It's Texas!!!

When espn is interviewing various coaches, they sound excited and believable talking about their program and the players signing today. I definitely didn't get that listening to sumlin.
