The family and friends are in our prayers from the Lady Dogs and the Mid County area.

Some schools will do anything to win. It has happened here locally recently.

If the DOGS dont improve on defense they will be able to go deer hunting any weekend they choose. I have seen some bad defense play in my days and Nederland was right up there with them.

Be careful with what you wish for. Nederland went through this cycle and LCM and Ozen are going through it now. It is called life. MB can come over and coach with the Dogs and I would be happy.

If Ryan and Kirby are able to play at full speed that will be great. I am very elated with the play of there replacements. They played under some big time pressure and performed great.

PNG fans need to be thankful all of the glory years they have had. Look at Michigan this year and there new coach. I believe teams come in cycles. The Indians coaching staff and kids worked very hard. You will have these kind of years. Look at how many years Lumberton suffered with their football program. The problem with Indian fans is that y'all are spoiled rotten. Changing coaches might help or not help. Ya ll just may be in the downward cycles for a few years. Life goes on and it is not the end of the world.

We have a good shot if grogan and lovelady are healthy. Tyler Smith did a great job coming off the pine. I believe Tyler did not have time to thank about being the qb in a huge playoff game as quickly as it was. These kids coming in with injuries to starters and playing the way they did grew up awfully quick. Dogs in a close one.

You can bet it want be the Dogs. If a team is looking for breaking rushing and passing records wait until you play the Dogs unless something dramatically changes.

We are going back on this game. Nederland playing Garland Owls for the 1956 state championship at Bulldog stadium. Both teams would run 2 plays and punt for decent field position. It rained and rained the whole game. Bum Phillips team lost 3-0.
