I've seen both and Saveat is better than the Crosby coach
You base this off of seeing them?  Egans has been around for a long time, led the girls to the state tournament I believe.  I'm pretty sure he can hold his own with anyone around as far as coaching goes.
2. Coach Byrd was a great man and will be missed by all that knew him.  He was quite an influence in my life and the direction I chose.  I pray for his family that God will give them strength in this time.  RIP Coach.
3. I don't want to say too much right now, but a Senior passed away last night.  Prayers are very much needed and appreciated.
4. Hey Tupac, you might want to clean off your crystal ball, I think it wasn't working right the other night. lol
5. You only lost by 3 in your gym.  This time you will have to come to Crosby and everyone knows the home court advantage BH gets at home.  I don't think Crosby will have any problem at home.
6.
1) Barbers Hill 2) Bridge City 3) Anahuac (If they get HCA's former head coach Karry Hess) 4) C E King 5) PNG
How can Ce King make this list when they finished next to last in their district last year?
7.
Wow, Looks like Columbus plays Lucus Lovejoy in the first game of the State tourney.  Lovejoy is the #1 team.....They(uil) changed the schedule so that Lucus Lovejoy would play Wimberley #2 in the final game. Big Question, can Columbus bust Lovejoys #1 rating in the first game up there?
UIL didn't change the schedule, it was never set.  They wait til Saturday night and seed the tournament. The top 2 teams according to their record are placed in different games, that way the top 2 won't meet till the finals.  What you see on the brackets are not games at state, just showing who made it to state
8. I grew up in Dayton, and we could never understand why Crosby always tried to make our games more important than they were.  Our rivalry game back then was Liberty, and we could care less about Dayton.  It now seems like Dayton/Crosby is the rivalry.  I have seen film of the "illegal tackle" from the side and the endzone view.  It most definately was not illegal, and should not have deserved a flag.  The flag was thrown by a ref that was about 25 yards away and in front of the play.  The Crosby player grabbed the jersey of the runner, nothing wrong with that, when the player was attempting to plant his leg, resulting in the leg snapping.  Nothing intentional, just bad luck.
9. I graduated from Dayton with a Ripkowski, who is his dad?
10. Having seen most of these teams, I would say that Tarkington and Huffman are way out in front of the others with Tarkington having the slight edge.  If Huffman can find a way to slow down Tarkington's outside hitter, can never remember her name.  They could pull out a district championship.  Not sure who will finish in 3rd.  Would have to say it's close between Liberty and Splendora.
11. Pool play games count if you are allowed to play 2 out of 3 games.  If they are limited to 2 games they don't count toward your record.  Most of your bigger tournaments will give the 3rd game option so they can count.
12. Kingwood Park looks very impressive, and isn't getting any votes?  Coach White has the girls looking good.
13. Just wondering if they ever hired anyone.  I know someone that interviewed but was not hired.
14. What you are proposing, while it may be a good idea, probably won't happen.  There are to many club directors and coaches that want to have the best team.  There would probably be a power struggle.  The way I've seen this work in the past is to start a new club, then personally invite the top players to join.  If you can get some committments from a few elite level players, then the others will sometimes follow just to have the opportunity to play with these other girls.  Then you have other headaches, the personal agendas of every parent on the team.  This is a much bigger problem than the girls.
15. MJ won't be back, I believe he signed with Kilgore this week.  I don't think they will let him play for Crosby on Friday nights.
16.
19 4A is not a strong district, 20 4A has owned them (outside of Dayton last year). Until proven wrong, all smart bets are on 20 4A. Crosby this, BH that, you just havent proven your worth in the past, maybe this is your year, who knows, but smart money goes 20 4A wins 3 out of 4. Am I wrong?
If I remember right Crosby sent the L-train packing last year.  Maybe that doesn't prove anything.
17. I have seen both PNG and Kingwood Park several times and think this game could go either way.  K. Park has one of the best liberos around, and enough hitters to cause some problems.  GCM has 2 middles that can put the ball away also, LCM probably has a few more hitters though.
18. Are there going to be any good warm up games in the area?
19.
Sorry, to bring this up Zip & Riz but the OH from B-hill "Canon" was the heart and sole of that team. Probably one of the most emotinal leaders of a team that I've ever seen. If she was up the team was up if she was down the team was down. B-hill will suffer greatly from that loss of leadership. As for Dayton, I expect to see them way in front of Crosby after the loss off the Bates twins and OH Nut that team right there will fall way back maybe not even the playoffs.
Why they play the games
20. Congrats Pats, ya'll have grown up a lot since the start of last season.
21. I am pretty sure the UIL doesn't do a 2 year average. Everyone just turned in their snapshot number for enrollment 2 weeks ago, and that is the number they will use.
22. Crosby defeated Kingwood Park in 4 to remain undefeated in district play.
23. What you heard were cheers from the hit that Judy put on Ploch, and the fact that Ploch fumbled the ball. The way Ploch walked off the field, I'm not sure he knew where he was.
