  2. 39 yd fg attempt with 1second left for caldwell. the kick is ...NO GOOD !!!!!!!!!!!  Wide Left!!!!!!!!!! OT in Waller!!!!!!!!!!
  3. 13  13  Caldwell ball on cleve 38. 44 seconds left in game. come on tribe!!
  4. Cleveland is overrated...Caldwell will roll
  5. Been quiet for a while but had to come out of my shell for this one. Gonna have to go with the Tribe in this epic east Texas battle. I like Coldspring's speed but I just don't see Cleveland's "D" bending to much. Also, I like Cleveland's ability to control the pace of the game on "O" with ball control. Gonna be sloppy so turnovers could obviously be a factor as well. Special teams will be huge as field position will be of the utmost importance to both teams. Gotta go with the Tribe in a close one . Cleveland 19 Coldspring 13.  Luke has spoken
  6. I dont think he is talking about the sled as much as the pads that are on the sled
  7. "DADDYBALL GAME ON SAT." GREAT STUFF AUGUSTUS
  8. twobag, you should know since you play for them. ;D
  9. Lets not get carried away pantherfan. Those teams are better than your panthers this year. I am supporting all three teams that are in the play-offs out of our district. Good luck Spl., CS, & Cleve. Lets give 21 AAA the business. Luke has spoken!
  10. I'll have to say that this can shape up to be a battle. It would help out them Cleveland boys if the Cats get the win. Shepherd has a pretty shifty QB and RB. The pirates got a little speed. The Cats are big and strong. I'm curious to see who can stop the man wearing the dealers hat on Friday night. Good luck to all 22 AAA. Luke has spoken
  11. An Imposter!! The "real" Luke has spoken
  12. After spotting Diboll 28 points in the first 8 minutes of the game last year, the Cats actually controlled the rest of the game even with the season debut of the great QB (Name escapes me) Diboll had. As usual with the Cats, they have to avoid the big play and make the team work to score. They do not have a great ability to play catch up. The offense will be key for the cats. If they can control the clock and keep Diboll off the field as much as possible and the D can get at least 2 or 3 turnovers, they will give themselves a chance. If not, it could be a very long night for the reigning 22AAA champs. Diboll is as good as I have ever seen them. If they start playing better D, they could make a lot of noise in the playoffs this year. Their skill players are phenomenal! The Cats will have to play nearly perfect ball to give themselves a chance. Luke has spoken!
  13. Tarkington over Splendora? I don't care who you are, thats some funny stuff! Cleveland will be in the mix, trust me! Luke has spoken!
  14. Saw Coldspring last Friday. Better bring your A+ game to even have a shot to beat them. Diboll was phenomenal and Coldspring is just flat out FAST! 55-44 final (Diboll) District will be interesting, much like last year. I really cant pinpoint key games because all of them will be important and more than ever, anyone can beat anyone! This one of those districts where 2-3 might get you a spot in the playoffs if you beat the right teams. We'll have to see. Gonna go spy on my Indians this week when they travel to Navasota. I am hoping to see the tribe get that first "W" before district starts. I know the coaches are working hard. They will have them ready to go on Friday. Keep your heads up Tribe! Luke has spoken!!
  15. Heard that Diboll is even better than they were last year. Thats hard to imagine.
  16. Ahh heck, thanks Rooster. Just cant get to fired up til' district starts I guess. Gonna go watch my boys from Coldspring take on Diboll Friday. Should be a good game. Good luck to all in 22AAA this week, especially RT, BR, DK, and DN in Cleveland. Hope you guys get that first win Friday! Luke has spoken!
  17. Been laying low this year because my boys in 22AAA have not made much noise. Looks like Coldspring is the class of the district right now. Who do they play Friday? The next 5 spots are pretty much up for grabs. The remaining 5 teams have a combined 3 wins! Look for all of these teams to make big strides in the coming weeks. Or at least I hope they do! Good luck. P.S.- Where are the 22AAA teams playing this week? Luke has spoken!
  18. Ask Silsbee how weak 22AAA is? They will tell you you will have quite a battle!!
  19. 3 game series @ Nederland Thursday 7:00 @ B Hill Friday 7:00 @ B Hill Sat. 7:00
  20. Evans throws HEAT?? Now that may be the funniest thing I've seen on here in a while! I've seen just about every pitcher in this district and I have not seen any HEAT. Parker throws harder than anyone, not even close but he has struggled at times. Evans?? ha ha
  21. I wonder how many high school coaches "badmouth" the "daddy ball" coaches for something that goes on during a game? I would be willing to bet the "Daddy ball" backstabbers are much higher during high school games. THAT is what sets them apart! Fact is there are a lot of people who know a lot about the game, whether you have a college degree or not. I agree a degree does not make you a good coach, believe me I have seen some bad ones but the fact is, those guys have made the SACRIFICE to be in that position. Eventually, bad coaching will catch up to you at any level and the game has a cruel way of putting you in your place by promotion or demotion! There are some fine little leagues around here and there are some that are so political, it really hurts the kids. Fact is, it all comes out in the wash at the end of a kids career. I have not met a high school coach yet that does not want the best 9 kids on the field. Why would he not? It's his neck that is on the chopping block! I think many of you guys would be shocked when you find out how much "coaching" is actually involved in a good program. The paperwork is never ending and organization is of the utmost importance. My brother is a high school baseball coach and he works his butt off for those kids. He always puts them first, but it's the backstabbin "daddyballers" he has the most trouble with. When they start paying high school coaches 100,000 a year, then let the complaints roll in. Until then, they will probably make between 2000-5000 a year and have to put up with this mess.
  22. Coldspring wins this one going away!! They are the most dangerous hitting team in the district. Coldspring 13 Liberty 7.
