Congratulations to all, especially Garhett.  He will do well in college and in life.  He has been raised well.

[/quote] I graduated in '79 with Ernest, along with Greg Hill who as a DB played in the NFL.  Ernest led the nation in rushing his junior year in college.  The number two rusher in college that year was Hershel Walker.  Unfortunately, Ernest suffered a knee injury his senior year and was never the same.

Congratulations to all of the winners.  I watched a lot of great kids play a lot of great football this season. 

Congratulations to my old high school (class of '79).  I know two of the players, Turley and Sparrow, from little league and they are both great kids.  It is nice to see them, as well as the rest of the team, be successful.

I saw a number of LC-M games this year, and Garhett B played well in all of them.  He makes great passes and is a tenacious defender.  He's got my vote.

True about Mike Hughes promoting area soccer.  His company used to give soccer balls to every youth in the Orange soccer league for several years.  We still have those balls around the house somewheres!  It was awfully nice for him to do that.  Thanks.

Brett Heil is awesome. He comes to play every game, has the physical abilities, and is a smart player. Plus he is a good kid.

The Bears have been playing well as a team. Different players are stepping up each game. I hope they do well in the playoffs.

I would like to see this handled just like they do in Track & Field. Your records are gone, you return your awards, and you are suspended. Period. I have admired Hank Aaron since I was a kid. I am old enough that he was still playing when I was a kid, and he always carried himself well. And every one of his home runs is legit.

Garhett Bonneaux and Vance Foster make a great 1-2 punch. Garhett has been ill recently but should be back to full speed pretty soon. The two of them have been playing together for years, and it shows.

Garhett Bonneaux and Seth Arteaga have both been out due to illness. Two key players who make a difference. Thanks for noticing that someone was missing.

Good job Bears. Good article about this game in the Orange Leader this morning.

It will be competitive again this year. LC-M has some young talent and a good coach so I expect that they will be in the hunt.
