1.
33-21 Lamar leads at half.  Keep it up for 20 more minutes and the Cards are going dancing.
You guys have in the bag.  We are only playing with 6 players as two of our only three big man are out for this game.  Word is that Rudy Turner has a concussion and is in street clothes on the bench.  Daniel Richard is sick and is not even at the game. Geeze, sigh, what rotten luck this season with injuries. Doc
 2.
The Ragin Cajuns are looking for a 6th home game.  They were working a deal with McNeese but that fell through.  I think that would be just as good or better than a game against La Tech.
Every thing was done with a contract with the Cajuns except the signatures and then, from what I hear, the Head Coach said, "No way".    And, now we are back looking for a game.    :( Doc
 3.
Doc what does it cost to just watch one game at a time?  Do you have any idea? Also, I never thanked you and your colleages over in Lake Chuck for such a great time a couple weeks back.  Very nice experience and a classy bunch.  When you guys finish the athletic offices, the stadium will be real nice!  (not that it isn't already)
I don't think the CSTV all access has one game subsriptions but you can get a month for about $15.  Some of the other systems like the one Texas ST uses have one game subscriptions.  I watched the Texas St./ Cal Poly game for $5.95 (I think).  McNeese has the JumpTV version like the Southland Conference website (which is free if you register).  McNeese has a 1 month subscriptions for $8.95. I can't the JumpTV versions like McNeese and the SLC have to work on my phone because they use Microsoft Silverlight which is supported by the Droid operating system  :( Doc
 4. All Access is a national deal that a lot of schools use. If you go to the link below to the CBS XXL All Access website and click on subscribe, you can pay an annual fee of $119.95 and then be able to get any of the schools' videos and streaming game broadcasts that use CBS XXL All Access (used to be CSTV All Access).  I get the annual subscription every year. XXL All Access PageCBS XXL All Access Page SFA has All Access and is streaming the game Saturday.  I can get the video on my Droid Incredible and plan on checking the video stream of the game at halftime of our game. Doc
 5.
Texas st going FBS will see an instant jump in attendance. Texas st then could bring in home games the likes of BYU, Alabama, K-st, Houston, TCU, and Texas Tech type teams.
Yep, just like ULL, ULM, North Texas, and Ark St. brings them in. ::) Doc
 6. Looks like McNeese will get three La. National Guard F-15's doing a flyover for the game for you guys.  According to the story, it took two years to get all of the approvals. ] Doc
 7.
Doc: What type of reception should visiting fans expect Saturday.  Should I bring a hard hat or just leave the rabbit ears at home?
Usually, visiting fans get a good reception in the tailgate areas.  You may get a little good natured ribbing but, if you are friendly and go introduce yourself, you will probably get offered all kinds of food and drink. At the game, you should be okay.  We have a several fans that sit above the visiting section in P & O that have caused a little trouble before but we have tried to calm those guys down.  If you encounter them, best thing to do is just ignore them.  Best not to have rabbit ears with those guys. If you get there in the afternoon, come to our tailgate area (spots 14 & 16 in the Westside Reserved Tailgating Area - numbers are painted on the roadway) and introduce yourself.  If you get there after the Band marches through the tailgate area at about 6PM, it will be too late as we will be putting stuff up to go to the stadium. As fans from all over the country that have been down and tailgated with us will agree, "We will tailgate with you before the game, try to beat the heck out of your team during the game, and then tailgate some more with you after the game no matter the result". Doc
 8.
Not sure if they are just sandbagging or if they really are concerned but there are several Mcneese fans on AGS that are unwilling to say that Mcneese will win this game saturday...
McNeese fans sandbagging???    Never!!!    ;) I can't wait for Saturday and I haven't even been waiting twenty-something years.    ;D Doc
 9.

I saw on BigRedInsider.com that there may be a Jet flyover for the 1st game.  Now that will be awesome if Jimmy Simmons can pull that off.
[img][Hidden Content]]
Probably look more like this: Flyover :) Doc
 10. [img][Hidden Content]] Reading this message string just reinforces my belief that football season needs to get here.    :) Let's get it on!! Doc
 11. Bullsh*t!!! McNeese has played on average one FBS team a season since playing Miami in 2000 (Miami, TAMU, Nebraska, Kansas St., North Carolina, Southern Miss, etc.) and what you say is just not true. The players like the challenge and the fans like the trips. And the greater risk of getting players hurt is just not true. It is no bigger risk than playing in any other football game. Doc
 12. You'd be eligible in 2011, since you are a Div I school from the get-go. The situation is not like UCA's where they are in transition. Pretty certain that year one, you would be eligible for that and the playoffs (if deserving). Correct. It is the same situation as Southeastern La. was in when they restarted football. Doc
 13. Do you have a link? Nothin' like rowlin up some cajuns! McNeese Delphi Messageboard Doc
 14. That's true. ULL is still in the SBC and had a measure of success when they were in the SLC. Two polar opposites. Lets compare... How many NCAA tourney wins did ULL have compared to LU? I think the subject was football not basketball. Doc
 15. I think you have me mistaken for someone else because I have never made a statement like that. Doc
