If you have a qb that can get the job done I do not see where putting Seay at qb is best for the overall success of the TEAM...Seay is very valuable on the defense side of the ball..Also use him on offense like Sonnier was used a few years back. As far as who will be qb that will be up to Neauman and Co. to decide.But I believe it will be a competition to see who gets the nod. Not sure you go with back-up this year just because he is the back up.As far as RB you got to go with Hopkins.He is proven.But after that I bet there will be a battle for who gets to tote the rock.Good thing for The Dogs is that you have capable players at both QB and RB. Off season, work ethic, and who wants it worse may prove to be the deciding factor!

BAM..Give the league an opportunity to evaluate and handle this. For you to spout off about incompetent board members shows a lack of understanding on your part. How many day long scheduling meetings or half day playoff meetings have you attended much less chaired? You are a pee wee coach, if I understand correctly. This means that you have limited experience in this league ,yet you have the audacity to call out board members as incompetent. Some of these board members have spent countless hours devoted to the kids,parents,and communities in which these kids play football. As a parent that had a kid involved in Pop Warner several years back I can say that this league is head and shoulders above Pop Warner. Do you realize the commitment it takes in order to make sure a league of this size functions properly on a week to week basis. Each individual organization spends alot of time and money to ensure that the kids in this area have an opportunity to learn the game of football, along with sportmanship and team work. I do not know who you are personally, but if you are not directly involved with NYFA or STJFL ,other than being a coach, I suggest you take a look at the big picture before you call people,that devote their time and energy, incompetent. Give the board a chance and if they do not make the proper call, according to your opinion, then I suggest you make the decision to devote several years to develope a league that has been as successful as STJFL. Think before you speak grasshopper....

Hate to hear about Kountze injuries and hope for a full recovery! Lumberton Blue should take care of Little Cypress Nederland Black will win over a much improved Vidor team Lumbertob White will win over PN-G purple. Bridge City beats WOS 2nd round will be much tougher to predict

I also feel like the superbowl will be at PN-G stadium. Just got to work out a few issues and it will be a done deal...The teams that make it will love playing at such a fine stadium. It will be an experience the boys will remember for a lifetime.

Hard fought game with alot of emotion in the game between the two Nederland teams. Nederland Bulldog fans have alot to look forward to in the coming years. Come out next Saturday and support Nederland Youth Football.

Sr.Blue will be in the Superbowl facing one of the Nederland teams. THE NEDERLAND BLACK team I would say..And then......Down go the STANGS ;D

great game from two great teams..19-16 WOS gets this one :(Nederland gives up 5 turn-overs >:(WOS gives up 2....maybe 3..#4 for WOS is a stud..I still say Nederland has more overall team speed and the fastest individual in the league..Should be a great match up later in the season

Actually there are about 4 kids that can run with the boys from WOS..Saturday will be here soon and it looks like the weather will be greats so let's all look forward to a good ,hard hitting game!

VNUPES whole post about all the "returners" they had is gone.VNUPES was spouting off about returning the whole defensive and offensive line and when COOLIGAN brought up drafting rules all of a sudden VNUPES post is GONE. ???What's up ??? I still say Nederland black has the fastest kid on the field and probably more team speed...

Nederland has a bit of speed themselves....I'd bet it turns out a little differently than jesusfreak thinks.In fact I would say as a whole Nederland black has more team speed plus the fastest individual on the field that day.

The 11AAA Texas Roughriders finished a great season with a second place finish at their 2008 World Series.They ended up 1ST in the NATION in USSSA points and a very respectable 15th in power ranking. Solid year from a great group of kids.The neat thing about this team is that it is made up of Nederland kids with the exception of one talented player from Port Neches.

Of course WO-S doesn't draft.They recruit ;D
