  1. The draft just took place and already smack talk...I can't wait till game one..Should be a good year
  2. Congrats to the 11AAA Roughriders. They won the state championship. They played great against a VERY strong field. The boys played great baseball !!!
  3. Broussard will be graduating this week ,but Swain can do the job as well .We will see a host of recievers early till we settle on the guys that can get the job done. The good thing is we have several to chose from. I look forward to a promising season.
  4. Good kid. He represents the city of Nederalnd well. He should do well wherever he ends up.
  5. Good conditions were on hand and Nederlands 800 man took advantage. There was stiff competition with a guy from The Woodlands settiing the pace with a blistering 1:53.3, followed by St.Thomas with a 1:54.75, and Nederland with a personal best of 1:55.05.(FAT) He then came back with a good performance in the 400 running 49.40 for second place.
  6. Give em all they handle over in Pearland!! Good luck and we will see ya in Huntsville
  7. I am looking forward to the Woodlands qualifiers meet. They will have a couple of guys that have run sub 1:55's in the 800. Will be a good time for guy from Nederland to lower his time if conditions permit.
  8. bhxceagle08... thanks for the update on Galena Park issue...Congrats on your win in Crosby..
  9. Did the kid form galena park run in this meet.
  10. Should be interesting.I say you both run well and beat the kid from Brenham and both go to state.
  11. Distance_coach.....Not so sure about that last post. The lumberton meet was only the second time the kid from Nederland ever ran the 800 so there has been a bit of a learning curve since then. Not only that I think the kid showed plenty of guts by bouncing back from a lackluster performance in the 400 during prelims. to come back and run a personal best 49.44 in the finals in windy conditions.Should be a good race though. I can not wait till regionals..
  12. I think we will see what these guys can do at the reqional qualifiers meet.Assuming the weather is good.Nederland will be runnning at The Woodlands meet.
  13. Looking foward to 22-4A representing our area at the RegionIII meet.
  14. The times will go down. It takes someone pushing you in order to drop times..The one time Nederland,s 800 man was challenged this year his time was 1:58.7. With a guy from Barbers Hill not far behind @ 1:59 something. So I would not be surprised to see times at regional around the 1:57 mark..or better
  15. go to TEXASTRACK.COM and you can see district result as they become available..you might have to subscribe
  16. Bucof2010..... Hope you are right..Now the DOGS can focus on what is important...WINNING DISTRICT next season and getting back into the play-offs. This whole episode should serve to motivate the players and then fans. I CAN"T WAIT TILL FOOTBALL ROLLS AROUND
  17. last post was for 22-4a-However ,those times are area best and the Central time in the 400 meter relay is one of the top 10 times in the state regardless of classification.
  18. 400 meter dash-Justin Krautz Nederland 49.72(FAT) 800 meter run-Justin Krautz Nederland 1:58.7 pole vault-Jared Parker Vidor 16' 4oo meter relay-Central 41.68
  19. 22-4a district meet will be held April 7 and 9th in Dayton
  20. Not the guy, nor a coach ..just an avid fan...Nederland will be running in Orangefield this week. Good luck and hopefully we will see ya at regionals. You mentioned a few others that broke 2:00 in our region.Do you know who they are and where they are from?
