  1. bear, I think bigned is just referring to what he has heard, not what he has seen.
  2. Hah, I don't mind. He seems like a nice guy. I sure hope the Ags can get past Mizzou tho, their down by a little bit at the half.
  3. humiliation on a public thread possibly...I mean a guy with a name like bullet corrects me on a thread, not only am I humiliated, but now I'm scared. Not many tougher names than bullet.
  4. Did Reggie grow any? I've watched him play since he was eight, but I haven't seen him much in the last year and a half or so. If he has he will be a force. Hard thrower who can crush the ball. Still think you need to keep your eyes on the Lumberton freshmen. Some of those boys were on the Texas State Champion Select Ball Team when they were...13? 14? one of those...some names I would throw out there are Corbin Bell, Ryan Dunkleberger and Wayne Stanley.
  5. Man bullet you could have just left that alone. What would it have hurt?
  6. Are there going to be any updates on these scrimmages? I live out of town and won't be able to watch them...what about the underclass team scrimmages? Will there be results on them as well?
  7. So I think, and AJ correct me if I'm wrong, that the Beard kid is their main pitching prospect. Throws pretty hard. Don't know how much breaking stuff he has though, haven't seen him play since he was younger.
  8. Just spoke to someone who had info on their tryouts. Apparently had a really large freshmen turn out and not nearly as many sophomores or upperclassman. Look for, at the least, a strong freshmen influence on JV. Didn't get a hold on who their aces were, apparently they are still trying to figure that out. Plenty of time though, practices just started.
  9. I don't know how many tried out total, but I know he had a pretty good freshmen turn out. And honestly those are the boys I'd watch out for, they are the group that up through youth ball won the district and went to regionals and such. They might be Lumberton's next hope for any sort of success unless Reyenga has something up his sleeve. The freshmen do have some good players. I've been looking forward to them getting to high school to see how they do. Yes I'm very interested in how they do.
  10. I agree with you, Bullet. I may have been unavoidably distracted during the game, but the times I got to look up and see what was going it was obvious that Texas was just off rhythm. You have those nights. On the the flip side (and positive for me, an aggie alumni) aTm played well, and I think would have won even had Texas played better. But it will be a much closer game next time, though as I predicted this time, I think the ags will come out on top, just might be closer than over 10 points next time.
  11. Boy Texas is looking better now. Ags better step it up for some momentum going into the half.
  12. Ags. Just bigger and better. They've got their stuff straight now. A&M by at least 10.

  14. I thought Mitchell was coaching at Hardin. Is he not anymore?
