I'm going to say its close. Every game Anahuac has played this year has been close but they just don't have enough bats to get on the right side in this one. 6-4 Buna

Anahuac Cameron Mitchell - Sophmore - CF Zach Smith - Junior - LF These two have made some great plays at the games i've seen.

Anahuac has 2 great ones (LF and CF)

Mr Ump...you bring up a point that has irritated me as a fan of baseball since they put this into effect....I don't understand why these coaches have to suffer and make a trip to austin because some umpires are just completely wrong or just bad or to lazy to get in position to make a call. Not to rant but I just wanted to get that out there. Now don't get me wrong if the Coach is in the wrong then he should have discipline action

Cougs all the way..expecially since the way Anahuac has been playing. hopefully they will turn it around and make a game of it but I also say a run rule will be in effect unless something changes.

WOW indeed what is the deal with Anahuac this year? I thought they would compete for a playoff spot?

The panthers have looked good at times and then bad at times it depends on which one shows up.

Now that we are into district play which 3 teams will win a playoff spot.

don't know any other scores but I hear it was 5-3 anahuac over Liberty. Don't know the details but that is what i heard can anyone confirm?

Does anyone have any info on how Anahuac is looking? I have been working and have not had a chance to get out to any of the scrimmages.

thats what I thought but I wasn't sure. Pitching was a problem last year is there anyone new freshmen that may be of any help in the future?

8-7 Anahuac

I know it doesn't matter a whole lot but I think Anahuac is 1-3. Whow who would have thought its going to be a tight one for 2nd and 3rd.

Well from the way I've seen Anahuac play, EC will win this one if they play like they did against buna. Anahuac has to stop giving up that big inning and they will win alot of ball games, but untill they learn how to do that it will be a long tough road ahead.

It was 15 and hardin had 14. I was right next to the person keeping the book. You would be crazy not to know that. So your telling me anahuac scored 10 runs on a bunch of errors and walks? Nope that nolan kid didn't walk to many and Hardin only had 2 or 3 errors.

No excuses...I'm not trying to take anything away from hardin they played and fought all through the game, just next time if Anahuc gets their pitching refined its going to be a very different ballgame. And to talk about the kid that pitched he battled and competed but impressive is not the word. When you give up 15 or so hits that doesn't impress anyone.

I was at the game also and from what I saw Hardin was handed 8 runs in the first. off of 4 or 5 walks and 2 errors and maybe 3 hits. After the new pitcher came in and threw strikes Hardin was limited to 4 runs. I think it will be a very different ball game next go around.
