Any word on this game getting played today?

I wouldn't go that far...if Anahuac plays decent baseball I think they should win pretty handily

Would that rule apply on a play to home plate now? or are you still able to block it there?

I think that will be the same for Anahuac, They have been very inconsistent with their pitching. Does anyone know who they are pitching for Anahuac? Are they throwing the lefty?

First district ball game of the year any thoughts? Who will Anahuac throw? I'm Curious to see how Anahuac bounces back. I heard they didn't have a good showing in Cleveland Tourny, I had to work bummer.

Anahuac started a little sloppy, but got it together and put up 14 hits on its way to a 16-6 run rule. They really hitting the ball pretty well lately. Lefty threw 1 1/3 with 3 k's and no hits.

Liberty might not have played well, but they didn't play bad. Anahuac just took it to them from the beginning. They did everything right. I think there were three or four time they hit and run and executed. Anahuac has a ton of speed and they used it. You have to give credit for a well played ball game on the first one

ima gonna take Anahuac in this one. They looked real good against a good liberty team as they had i think 14 or 15 hits. Got one Pitcher and after that they may struggle

Anahauc rolled 17-2 in the first game. somewhere in the neigborhood of 14 hits, freshman went 4 2/3 only giving up one hit. Next game they came out flat and had a tone of walks and got beat 12-2 and only had 5 hits. Nice things to come from Anahuac if they can play like they did in the first game.

Great game!! BCA wins 3-2. 0-0 through 5 and then BCA behind an 2 errors and a basehit scored 3 runs in the 6th Anahuac put together a few runs and with the bases loaded with the score 3-2 with two outs just came up short. Great defensive game. Both teams hit the ball hard but it was just right at people. Strong pitchers on both sides. BCA is good squad and I think that Anahuac will be able to challenge anyone in the district.

Nephew on Anahuac plays them Tuesday night. Was just curious if anyone knows anything about them?

My nephew told me they (Anahuac) is suppose to play Baytown Christian Academy on Tuesday at 7:00 @ Anahuac if the field dries out.

From what I've seen, he looks to be a good fit and really knowledgeable. He really makes those kids hustle everywhere on the field and be disciplined. We really haven't had that over here.

Watched Anahuac a couple of times now. With basketball over they should be able to make a run at a playoff spot. In my opinion their outfield has to be one of the best in the area. They are fast and can make plays. If they get their pitching in order their gonna be tough. Hitting has some ways to go.

West Hardin was a no show. Liberty and Anahuac took the field. Anahuac didn't look very solid as a team. Lots of walks from the pitchers and not much offence. On the positive side there were 2 leftys for anahuac that if they come around might help out the team. Liberty didn't look to bad had some decent hurlers that kept Anahuac off all night. I think it ended up somewhere around 10-4 Liberty

Did anyone go to the game? Still no update!!! How did Anahuac look? Any better than the EC game?
