Congrats Spurger,good team win. I was at the games this weekend and the boys had me a little worried but they turn it around just in time.This team seems to be growing leaps & bounds every time out.About Deweyville, Bland is the real deal.He has a nice 12 to 15 footer,a little babyhook that you cant really do anything about.Best option is try to keep the ball out of his hands.

the worst game i have seen Spurger play this year. out played, out coached, out hustled. not to take any thing away from south beauregard. big,fast and well coached. two real big guys,but #23 is the best player i have seen in this short season.

2nd lose for the Spurger girls, this makes them 9-2. They had 2 out w/injures and one playing w/ an attitude problem as usual. The one that was pulled up from J.V. done a great job on defense. Hang in their girls, keep working hard, and the team will do just fine.

How is this tournament working? I have a schedule, everyone plays everyone, and it doesn't show a championship game schedule? What will determine the winners/placings (by score, records, or what?)

I dont care who Spurger plays as long as team keeps showing improvements.This team has played quality clubs.Done well in few and a few they took there lumps.Its called growing pains for young team.All that matters is district play and from what I see, that is all these guys are working for. : : : : : :

Congrats Deweyville another good win in a normally hostile environment.

To much talent at both clubs I wouldn't count them out until they start losing district games.
