Personally I am very glad to be back in the Beaumont area schools and back more in actual SETX country! Looks like this district will be very competitive in girls basketball. So much less travel for us - that is good thing!

Bridge City Jasper Lumberton LCM Silsbee Vidor WOS

If she is good enough she will be recruited at the level she can play at from HD. Stay there and build - keep making headlines and breaking records.

Congrats!!

I only have two seniors and only one that can play at the next level. JaKayla Brown - she is a 5'10" forward that can keep developing and prob play the 2 or 3 position in college. She is a D1 talent with several offers already.

Going into the Christmas break at 13-5 overall. District begins Jan. 7th with a game at Hudson. Still trying to get everyone back and healthy. We have played a couple games with only 5 varsity players but different kids keep stepping up. Seems we learn something every game and improve something every week. Going to Hallsville to face 4 very tough opponents next week. We will play Mt Pleasant, Pleasant Grove, Tyler Legacy, and Crandall. JaKayla Brown -is averaging 21 points and 7.4 rebounds a game.

Proud of our girls. Working and getting better each game. Big Sandy has a great team. They will be one to watch the rest of the year.
