  1. It's kinda hard to say who'll be the best back next year at Central b/c with our Offense they do a good jobs of spreading the wealth...we had 4 ball carriers, I believe, with at least 500yds rushing each! In most systems you have one good back...well I'ma say Central has a few...Nijel Daw, Roach, and watch out for Jacoby Collier...whether it's at RB or FB...he'll be a load!
  2. Y'all need to leave Beard on D and let him wreck!...He could help on O, but he's one of the two Best MLB returning along side of Central's Will Jones
  3. You're talking about "Roach"...I think he came from under the fridge! ;D
  4. I agree with all of this. Tech doesn't play any Defense and they are soft and always have been and always will be. The spread is a gimmick offense...I can't stand it. The Pro-Set is the way to go especially if college players want to get to the next level like you said. It gives them experience in that style of offense. It's not that Tech doesn't play any defense...it's the style they play...the have the bend but don't break method...they attack alot and do some unconventional stuff! However w/ the offense they have it puts them in a bind b/c teams are always throwing the kitchen sink at em trying to score more than the O does!
  5. the freshman kristian smith kinda reminds me of vince young lol I didn't know Kris played football... Oh Yeah, he played...gotta get control of his emotions but he has plenty of talent...WB was pretty ticked when the RB and QB from Austin MS came to Central...They wanted them bad! And the good thing about BJ is, he's not afraid to pitch the ball on those option plays! Which makes our offense that much more effective...Richard was a little timid after the Ned game after a few bad pitches...i guess that stuck w/ him the rest of the season!
  6. Can't compare the two...Sam Mac has a year of Big 10 football under his belt...that's pretty salty...he's a 600lb squatter...dude is strong and fast! He made plays this year but just didn't think it was a good fit with that system!
  7. What are you talking about...I met the OL coach when they came by to recruit Charlie...he said they are loosing one person off their line...they were young and inexperienced...they'll be tougher this season! Prime example...Central OLine...they were young last season but came together! It could happen...a lot can happen in an offseason if they really want it! they may be tougher but their talent level isnt going to magically double in one off-season. Its going to take a few years of good recruiting to get the aTm O-line back to even being considered "decent"......but the athletic QB & potential talent at RB could help ease the transition. Franchione neglected that O-line and they graduated most of their talent after last season, just look at the huge drops in production from Goodson & Lane this season. aTm will feel the effects of this for at least a couple more seasons. The one positive is Sherman has some decent talent at the offensive skill positions to somewhat ease this down period. I think most of the drop off was due to the change in system...Lane was their bull doozer and Goodson the HR threat!...In the pro style offense...they changed from a dual threat to a downhill team putting Lane on a short leash...don't get me wrong I don't mind the change in offense, but Michael will only make things better if he runs between the Tackles!

  9. True...it's about more than coaching...it's about management as well....oh that's Co Eric Jackson...they spelled his name wrong...Go Jags! I wish him well, but hope he doesn't leave the Jags anytime soon!

  11. PA needs an established coach to come in, but with Thompson and Boutte sitting there as AD's...I think they might be better giving it to XBOX...he's does have the respect of alot of people there...and they can make him into what they want...Dance Puppet Dance!
  12. The team with the better record and district standing get the lesser draw...however in this case Central and Lumberton were #1 Teams in their brackets...Lumberton in Small School and Central in Big School!
  13. We'll miss u and the rest of the seniors...good luck in wrestling
  14. Not true...remember a few years back...Ceder Hill won state using the spread formation utilizing a QB who had over 2000 rushing and 1000 passing!
  15. Seeing my Jags take on PA...starting the season of right with a big win!
  16. We've also got the best Center in the district coming back...Sterling Cantue! We've got a gang of WR's and lookout for Kewon Alfred...DL...he's a beast!
  17. If was really over Short...why'd u post...gotta ignore and resist the urge to get in it...see u sucked me in!
  18. And who do they rely on for stats of players....the coaches!
  19. Oh snap...this is funny! Next he'll be going to the nudie bar! where the beer is flat like the girls backs...where...the nudie bar!
  20. played with or that you gave water to? :D ;D
  21. Do you really think that's what PA wants...smashmouth...they had that with Charles...if someone like Stowers we to come in, and I say again...IT AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN...running a similar style of offense as what they did this year @ Central which is what Stowers loves...that would piss every WR off at the school and the fans sure wouldn't understand it, yelling out "Throw the ball more...these coaches are stupid...not much different than what we had here...No doubt PA has athletes...but you do have alot of drama...is this not the barber shop, can we not talk about our issues on here...y'all got issues and guess what so do we! Yeah, smashmouth would work. If not the wishbone, then the I. Colbert was just dumb for handing off to JC 500 times a game and not throwing more. One of those QB's left PAM and started for New Mexico 3 years. Porterie I believe so it's possible. Besides, teams like Trinity, Clear Lake, Katy, all run down hill and utilize play action. The spread is for sissies and if a WR wants to quit because PAM isn't throwing enough the let them. Football is a collision sport and it's time PAM start playing real football instead of sissy ball.... Very True!
  22. 8) He's the front runner more than likely. he's not gonna do it! STOWERS DOESN'T LEAVE JAGUARLAND FOR TITANVILLE
