Better RB, yes! Better athlete NO! Hall should be playing WR or DB...but that's my opinion! I hope he doesn't go to Lamar...BMT might have too many distractions 4 him! All these players we've got coming to LU might find out the grass isn't any greener here!

Wow, that's a bold statement! I think he might have had more stones than Hall, but he ain't no better athlete...Hall could turn any run into a homerun...w/ crazy speed...his only problem was he wanted to run to the sideline...CMike will go hit ya!

Jags got it last season b/c they could control the clock w/ that power running game & some big plays on D and snagging a few picks! This season should be a bit different...both teams have athletes, speed, and a desire to spank the other teams u know what! Jags pull it out...24-17

Jags have gone back to their offense they ran in 07 and should be airing it out more! U know folk complained last season, even w/ us going 4 rounds deep, that the Jags didn't air it out enuff! They've always dun 7on7 b/c it gives them a chance to get better at what the need to get better at...slanging the rock!

Over the last 4yrs this is the 4th time there has been a fight between these 2 schools...last year PA said the same thing.."we choose not to compete anymore!" Point blank, this is gonna be a good ol' battle by these two programs both of which have new HC's. I hope they can handle the pressure that seem to be boiling up!

Why would we want a kid that can't handle adversity at QB? You have to earn your starting spot! I may be wrong because I don't have all of the facts, but if the leader of the offense has quit before because he didn't get his way, do you really want him no matter how athletic he may be? Hope I am wrong and something else was going on. He was heck of an athlete in HS. Yep, you're wrong! Talk about handling adversity...shoot Son, he's from the North End...what more does he need to handle...he was getting the reps and was slated to start that fall and he had a family thing come up and left and never came back...then the coaches left for Lamar and he had no desire to go back!

Went to Navarro JC after sitting out the 2007 season, not enrolled in any school. During the spring of 2008 he went to Navorro for a hot minute and then called it quits! Lamar is said to have been trying to get a hold of him.

Hall ran a 10.29 FAT during his 10th grade year before breaking his leg!

Don't you ever say it's fake.... :-[ Wrestling is scripted...and choreagraphed like ballet! But you have to be very aware of your body and respect for you opponents to ensure no one is seriously injured during competition. Wrestling is REAL!

I have to say it...Brandon Williams was a beast at the QB position while in HS here in the SETX. No mentioning anything he has not dun since then but he was a beast fo sho! You saw the promise he show'd against WB his Jr season when he went 80yds the 1st play and obvisouly led the team to a district title that season too! His Sr season was awesome as well, I believe the scoreboard at NED is still flashing after he lit them up that year! He almost single handedly won the Vidor game after the Jags had a poor showing and Vidor played with some serious emotion along w/ the naming of the field. He was a monster....6'5" 225lb and ran a 4.5...to bad he'd rather not play anymore...SO SAD!

Anyone know anything about this 21yr old nightmare! I saw his fight against Stephen Bonnar...and I was impressed! Has he fought since then?

Central vs Angleton was an awesome game to watch last season! You talk about a beast of a team and that required Central to do something they had not had to do a lot of throughout the year, which was score points to win! The Central offense was built on running the clock out and keeping opposing offenses off the field, but not that night; at least not in the 2nd half. The offense had to put together a game winning drive and the defense had to get a big stop at the end! And talk about seeing a star in the making...Angelton's QB...Quinton Jammers younger brother! That dude could fly! To be honest, I also enjoyed the Central vs Friendswood game; that was a good one too! It may have had a sad ending, but the anticipation was high all week for that game. Playing in that enviroment was great! Even the Central vs Ozen game was exciting! The Jags having to be the visitors at Babe! Wow! The game and the atmosphere that night was awesome for 3 quarters...you have to remember that Ozen won that game the year b4 and Central was out to right that wrong! The Central vs Nederland game was exciting too! After the 2007 season game in which Central made an attempt to come back after getting their doors blown off in the 1st half...All the noise that was said by the MC people about Central not being able to contain the Big Ned offense or stop their bruising TB, well that game proved to be the coming out party for the Jags power run game!

Congrats...I knew they'd make the right choice! Now, hopefully he'll do what it takes and bring in the people he needs to get the job done!

Bowl games and NFL playoffs are always great! I can't stand baseball though!
