You said something about the boys going by numbers. Well, if it is numbers then TABC is wrong as well right? In 3A there is a team that is 8-0, yet they are ranked #7, but if we went by numbers wouldn't that mean they should be first? Now go look at the girls side West Oso is 14-0 yet they are ranked #7, if you just go by numbers then shouldn't they be number one? You can't always go by numbers, this is a great example last year Orangefield played a team in the play-offs that were undefeated like 30-0, they we not that great, but by what you are saying they should have been ranked because they didn't lose a game. Also did HJ play in any tournaments during the holidays?

: alright. I think your taking it a little to personal. HJ is good. I bet the drop in the TABC poll too. Find a message board about that saying they shouldn't drop after losing to a team that wasn't ranked.

Orangefield didn't lose to anyone on this list that is below them. Neither has Memorial. HJ did. We beat Silsbee who is #6 on this poll also #15 #14 #12 and #9. Also I just read Memorial beat Cleavland by 10, HJ only by 5.

Well I think Silsbee should be ahead of HJ, but they got beat by Orangefield by 20 plus, but then Central beat Orangefield in the begining of the season pretty bad and HJ beat Central. So its a toss up. Memorial is undefeated in their district. Maybe thats why.

I agree with you about there being 2 more girls that can play at the next level, I hope Lamar will get some more local talent.

Wow, 4 girls fouling out. That is weird. If they didn't have a game this week, why didn't the coach bring up a few JV players just in case something like that happened?

Tigervoice, it looked like an easy pick. HJ has been playing great and winning against great teams, they are #4 in the state. I would have picked HJ to win, by at least 10, but I am very glad to see Silsbee pull this one out.

Orangefield is now 5-0 ;D We still have WOS & HJ before the first round is over.

I think the next player should be Ang Green, having 33 pts against the #4 team in the state is worthy of being the player of the week.

I was very worried almost the whole game. HF has imporved a lot, I think they are going to upset someone this season, I just hope its not Orangefield!! Congrats to both teams. KK Little again had an awesome game. Allie Beach also played huge for us last night. Good job ladies lets keep it up.

Why did Vidor only have 3 girls on the court?

They were bad. Apparently there is no such rule as 3 seconds in the lane or a 5 second count? They literally stood in the middle of the lane and not a one 3 second call. We need to take care of the ball, throwing the ball to a post in the corner with 8 seconds left down by one and at her feet, is not smart at all.
