  1. Brown looked strong beings he came straight off the football field from Thursday Night. Monday night in the Dawg Dome will be a huge test for the Bears who lost to Nederland last year in the Bear Cave. If anyone has a chance to make it over to Nederland Monday night I think the Brown vs Hefner matchup will be worth the price of admission!
  2. You're right, Hunter Gonzalez was the PG and a QB on the football team. He's 24 now, so that would have been about 6 years ago
  3. In 1999, they won District with Marcus Campbell as a Post and the PG you may be thinking of was Jon Jenkins (JJ), neither was QB though. So we may not be thinking of the same season. They actually beat Lincoln that season in the Bear Cave. If anyone can correct me on that, please help me out. Marcus was a solid big man, he went on to play for Lamar.
  4. Tuesday Night (11/14) is the official opening of the beautiful new Hargrove Pavilion on the Little Cypress Mauriceville campus. The Bears who are ranked 19th in the Preseason Poll in 4A host the PN-G Indians at 7:30PM. Coach Jeffcoat is in just his 2nd season after winning 24 games last season, has brought back an excitement to the LC-M Community that has not been seen in almost 20 years! Anyone care to predict an outcome of this game?
  5. Ayson Simmons played fantastic, I think he had close to 30 points! Great win by LC-M. Congrats to Coach Jeffcoat on his first playoff victory!
  6. Im not gonna be kind, I'm gonna keep it honest in here......Silsbee by 50!
  7. I will take Silsbee minus the 40 points. Senior Night for them and I think they try and prove a point they can dominate without Devon. Silsbee by 65 is my prediction.
  8. We are registering for that one. Thanks for the help!
  9. And that is absolutely the best thing to do with everything that has happened in the last 4 days.
  10. Tuesday night will definitely be emotional for everyone who has great memories in the Bear Cave! Has anything heard if K. Brown and B. Bridges will be back in uniform? If LCM is to try and sweep the series against WOS, they will definitely have to play better than they did tonight. Should be a good one
  11. 2-0, game was as close as I expected.....lol j/k. I hate that things went down like they did. Silsbee has a great thing going and LC-M's Coach Jeffcoat is really trying to build his program into something to be proud of, when things like this happens it is just "black eye" for both teams, no matter who threw the first punch/second punch/last punch.
  12. WOW, that is a lot of points. Is LC-M is the only one to hold them under 100 (99pts) in district?
  13. Who ya got tonight, as LC-M welcomes the #1 State Ranked Silsbee Tigers into the Bear Cave? Game is scheduled for 7:30pm and will be broadcast locally on KOGT 1600 AM radio. LC-M comes in with it's only district loss from the previous meeting with Silsbee. Can LC-M slow down this juggernaut Silsbee team? I expect LC-M fans to show up to support their boys as they clinched their first 20 win season in over 10 years under the guidance of First-year Head Coach Brad Jeffcoat. Meanwhile, Coach Sigler seems to have his Tigers primed for another run at the State Tournament. This is a very good Silsbee team who has no problem scoring in bunches, quickly and has hit 100+ points dang near every game. Anyone want to weigh in on the outcome for tonight's game?
  14. No doubt that Buddy Buckets is the catalyst on this team! Very Solid all year long! Seems like every game the opposing team has trouble keeping a defender in front of him, very quick and very high Basketball IQ.
  15. Do you happen to know the year and opponent that happened?
  16. I'm taking Silsbee and the UNDER tonight! Final Score- 120-39
  17. BC would play "Stall Ball" before Silsbee could get to 138 pts. I saw them do it most of the game against LC-M this year
  18. All, the LC-M Little Dribblers Basketball League is looking to play some tournaments with our All-Star Teams. We wrap up the season this weekend (Feb 4th). We will be fielding teams in the following age groups 9-10 Boys 9-10 Girls 11-12 Boys 11-12 Girls If anyone has info on local tournaments please let me know. Thanks
