1. Freshmen Dayton.          50 Goose Creek.  12
2. Could have been worse.  It was a running clock.  Lee got to the Dayton 3, turned it over on downs and Dayton' first play after that was a 97 yard touchdown.  Right now at the half in the JV game it's 20 - 0 Dayton. I heard that the Freshmen B game was 14 - 0 Dayton.
3. Freshmen Dayton                  50 Baytown Lee          00
4. It is what it is.  Just an opinion.  If it were based on strenght of schedule then Dayton would be above Westbrook.  They have a common opponent in Eisenhower.  Westbrook needed overtime to beat them while Dayton was playing there subs with a 27 point lead.
5. 7A Dayton          23 Gentry            00
6. Barbers Hill came to play.  It was an amazing game.  It had everything, hard hits, long runs amazing defense, offensive surprises, it had a little of everything including a big old helping of crow.  I'll take mine bar-b-que style.  Slather that sauce on and it all tastes like chicken.  Good game Eagles and hoping for a good playoff run for Barbers Hill and Dayton.
7. Actually in Stewarts first year Dayton was District Champs.  So yes the team operated the new system just fine.
8. I'm lost.  Can someone direct me to the Barbers Hill vs Dayton football thread for SETXsports? It used to be here.
9. It seems that our friends to the South have a better football team than they had last year.  They are 3 - 0 and are coming into this weeks game on a high note after beating Nederland.  On the other hand Dayton is coming in at 2 - 1 after a very good win over Aldine Eisenhower.  Our friends to the South obviously think that Dayton is not as strong as last year.  The truth is that Fort Bend Elkins, which is a solid 5A program, only loss is to Dayton.  The Broncos only loss is to Angleton, a ranked 4A and undefeated team, by only 8 points.  Finally they beat Eisenhower by 3 touchdowns and Eisenhower is not a bad 5A team.  My piont is that Dayton is stronger than last year and should do as well, if not better, than last year. Read into it what you want but I say Dayton is on a roll and it will not be easy to stop them.
10.
That new turff will be slippery for a few seasons.  I am ready for Sexton and Rueter to hit that midget Qb from Dayton in the jaw and slide his ars back to Dayton.
As was proven last year, they will have to catch him first.  Seems like they were about 54 steps behind him last year.
11.
When are we going to see the Battle for the Liberty Bell? Dayton vs Liberty! Come on, let's do it, encouragement my friend.
I hope this is a joke!
12. I have watched Townley play against Dayton for a few years.  He is a solid athlete and is a spread offense quarterback.  He has a good, accurate arm and can run the ball very well.  He is an excellent addition to any athletic program!
