The middle of the field on defense is Vidor's biggest weak spot. Vidor has made some great improvements all over the filed on both sides of the ball, but need to fix the middle asap. It's not a personnel problem, it's a scheme issue before anyone thinks am calling anyone out.

Congrats on a total game victory!! I for one didn't give y'all much chance in this game. Glad you proved me wrong. Quirante, don't listen to these people trying to compare you to your brother. You keep playing your game and at the end of the day if will speak for itself. Only negative from today, we got to shore up the middle of the field against the pass. Too many guys crossing behind the backers and in front of the safeties. The corners played shutdown coverage today. Hats off to you. I like the 4 man front and the way they got after it. The offense was clicking today. No punts and no turnovers. Play calling was much better today and glad to see some new wrinkles. Hopefully that will be a trend we can build on week to week. Build on this from week to week and don't take anything for granted. Keep putting in the work and success will keep coming.

I don't see this one as close as everyone else. I hope am wrong, but not buying into last weeks win by Vidor. Central easily takes this one by 35-7.

Vidor did play better last night than last week. But still have room for a lot of improvement. Memorial is not a good team. This game should have been a lot worst with the returning players on Vidor. It is something to build on, but we still have alot areas of concern. If Memorial had a decent QB and receiver, they would have made a game of it. Don't think all is right in Vidor based on last night. District will be a different story.

Hey Rob. I talked with you last football season about Vidor's issues. I was Pirate88, but I can't get back on under that name for some reason. How do you feel after last nights debacle? I don't think one thing has changed from last year. Just brushed the dust off the ole book and started back up. These kids deserve better. They are putting in the work and these coaches are letting them down. Why is it that Matthews gets a pass on this. Everyone last night was saying we need new coordinators. Mathews is the one sets the direction and schemes of this team. Coordinators just carry out his plan. Never seen a coach so unwilling to change. 18 years is enough. We need a completely new staff. Too many kids in the program with enough talent/skills to be wasted. Just my thoughts, but I hope others start feeling the same way.

Based off of where/how Vidor finished last year and how they started this year, 2-8 or may be 3-7 at best. Forget playoffs, we need a completely new make up. These kids are putting in the work needed, they are not being given the direction to succeed. Changes are needed and needed soon.
