LOL...You must have never watched a game. Hardin runs a Spread Offense with a TE. Either they had a big play for a TD or they punted. Either way they did not have long drives which would eat clock. Spread offenses are not known for eating clock. Time of Possession was very low. So the defense was much improved. In fact the Offense put the defense in a bind a majority of the time. Not to mention that QB threw 10 interceptions on the year and the offenses countless fumbles. The Hardin Offense left lots of points on the field this year and were in most games including East Chambers and La Marque until they killed themselves. Problems teams with losing culture have until they develop winning cultures.

Let me say this...the QB played absolutely no defense all year. And in 2016 The Hornets were getting thumped to the tune of 56-0 on average most district ball games. Scores this year 33-22 La Marque Game, 31-12 EC game, 21-12 Anahuac, 34-14 Hempstead, Hcock 60-0 because they threw the game to stay healthy. As far as I remember its the same kids from a year ago on defense. Rome was not built in a day or 6 months boys.

It means they can't hack it. If they are quitters let them quit. Kids these days expect people to feel sorry for them. This post is a joke. I can tell you what is common at most "good" schools....Athletic Directors don't let kids back in the program who have quit before. This isn't pee wee ball and coaches lose jobs based on the effort or lack of their athletes give.

Well my buddy may still apply...Crazier things have happened look at the Porter Spartans 1-9 to 8-1. Whats the word on the position going to wait until December to open it up?

I know someone interested in the job. Would Hardin folks be open to a Spread offense and a 10-1 (Celina defense) or 50 defense? Superintendent out there seems like a real good guy but what does the town want?

Weakest this district has been in awhile. None of these teams go past second round of playoffs. Next year will be a show however. Lots of move in kids due to coaching changes and recruitment. Look for BH to be reigning district champs for years to come.

Porter has three Sophomores starting offensive line all are good but inexperienced pups. I've seen the strength boards at Porter they will not be anywhere close to Lumberton physically in the trenches this season. Defensive line for Porter is weak and LBs are average. If Lumberton holds down Carlos Norman and Shane Carney thats ball game. Lumberton wins 28-21 and porter gives up at least 3 turnovers.

They deserve it. They win more than New Caney.
