West Brook 5, Lee 1 BEAUMONT — Coming into Friday nights contest, the Ganders might have thought they had an excellent chance to pick up a win. The Bruins had other ideas. West Brook cashed in early with three first-half goals and cruised to a 5-1 win over Lee to pick up its first win of the year. Luis Camacho scored the Ganders’ only goal. “There’s nothing that I can say,†Lee head coach Criss Dippel said. “We had the ball on their end most of the first half and then they take the ball down the field and score. “It was one of those nights where everything was going to come together for them.†The loss dropped Lee to 1-2 in 21-5A and 4-4 overall. The Ganders will host Port Arthur Memorial at Stallworth Stadium Tuesday night.
