1. One side blue and silver...the other red and black. Hopefully over 12,000 fans screaming at the top of their lungs. This will be an environment like no other. May the best team win.
 2. WOS has something to play for....I doubt anybody in the state of Texas wants to play the mustangs this season. Pride, honor, and the will to defend a fallen teamate goes alot farther then talent! I saw alot of interviews after RG's death and every teamate said "Were bringing home the ring for Reggie." I wouldn't doubt the mustangs :)
 3. Griff is the coach of the year. After losing almost the whole team from last year he has put together a VERY talented team. WOS only lost 2 starters from last year so I would put Riojas 2nd.
 4. Both of these teams have faced a dominate pitcher in johnson. Bc gets no hit through 6, wos hits a homrun off his first pitch and puts up another run in the first. Not that it means anything just something to the think about

 6. Back on topic, Im beginning to lean towards the PNG/Vidor game

IMO it would be PNG-vs-Vidor or Ofield-vs-wos
I think both of these are gonna be good but I'm looking forward to OF and WOS game to start 21-3A with a upset?
Wouldn't be much of an upset IMO. Orangefield way overrated!

Hester has a big job in the next 2 months, I would like him on my team. 16th- Central*- 7PM 19th- @Lumberton*- 7PM    Hester 23rd- Ozen*- 7PM 26th- @ PNG*- 7PM             Hester 29th- LCM*- 7PM APRIL 1st- @ Nederland*- 7PM        Hester 6th- Livingston*- 7PM 9th- @ Central*- 7PM 13th- Lumberton*- 7PM         Hester 16th- @ Ozen*- 7PM 20th- PNG*- 7PM                   Hester 23rd- @ LCM*- 7PM 26th- Nederland*- 4:30 PM     Hester 30th- @ Livingston*- 7PM
Hester could very easily go 3-3 in district :o
 9. In your opinion which game do you think is the best matchup? IMO it would be PNG-vs-Vidor or Ofield-vs-wos
 10. Orangefield is way overrated. WIll be a close battle for 2nd.
 11. Looking like it might be BC, OF, and WOS but who knows in this district  :)
 12. I see silsbee in the mix with all of those sophomores last year having another year under their belts this year....sleeper!
 13. Orangefield way overrated! More like the 7th or 8th best team in the area.
 14.

I've see both Felts and Ty Parker play and they're very good batters.  But as far as playing the catcher position, I'd take Lumberton's Wes Bingham hands down.  He knocks everything down and throws out runners trying to steal.  He's picked off runners on all three bases that were trying to get a lead.  He's very quick out of the gate and fires the ball.  Wes has also had 3 homers this year, so he's also good with his bat.  I like all three players, but I think Wes is the best overall.  I know he's talking with several colleges but hasn't yet committed.
Apparently UT and the 5 to 6 pro scouts at Orangefield games think otherwise.
Why are UT scouts at orangefield games if Felts has already committed??
 15. I have seen both the mustangs and the bobcats play...it looks to me that it will be a close battle for second.
 16. Wasn't last year in the playoffs the first time orangefield has beat bridge city in foreverrrrr?! Sorry but one win doesnt crown you the king! BC takes this district...

Always one of the most competitive and interesting districts in the area.
gotta be BC with Hicks on the mound until somebody can beat them.
Bridge City's District until they're Dethrowned. JMO
 18. Any opinions? Always one of the most competitive and interesting districts in the area.
 19. Pulling for the Stangs but too much firepower for Silsbee. Tigers 72-60
 20. Sounds like it should be competitive. Jasper/Vidor looks like the early favorites
