Yeah we heard this a few years back in the playoff game when Vidor had the ball majority of the game and still lost. Crosby will be ready come game time believe that. #CCTakeover

Before the start of the season I had Nederland finishing 3rd or 4th in this new district. Now I got them picked to finish 2nd...with BH, Dayton, and Vidor fighting for the 4th seed. I think Nederland wins this one in a close one.

Crosby doesn't look like Code Red from the past seasons. They're not as explosive on offense. The defense was caught out of position and paid for it on a TD pass 1st play Slendorda had possession in the live scrimmage. I hope this was just a conditioning/contact deal cause I'm iffy on this squad.

I imagine #21 had an awesome game. Crosby defense needs to get it together because they are giving up way too many points and can't cover the pass.

Any stat lines on the game anyone?

Refs made us work for the last score with all the flags thrown. We scored 3x's before we actually got points on that drive... "Doghouse, meet the CodeRed Machine."

Crosby up 22-7 early in the 2nd according to kjas radio. Crosby seems to move the ball up and down the field and Jasper seems to keep turning to ball over.

Really? I guess I'm new to fans being hype over a JV win! Never seen a JV victory put a W in the win column for a varsity squad but to each their own. #CCTakeOver

Jasper varsity better be able to put up points. Crosby offense will have to win games this season until the defense finds an identity, unlike the previous years when the D was solid and IMO was the better of the two.

What's the update? I'm out of town in Irving, Tx and won't be able to attend either of the games this week for Code Red!
