1. This game could decide the last playoff spot.  It should be a good one.
2.
JV guy
So a JV pitcher vs. Bellow?  This game could get ugly real quick.
3.

I think you might see a new righty on the mound tonight for LCM!
I heard the same thing. Looking forward to seeing him throw.
LCM threw 8 pitchers in the 1st game.  I think Nederland saw the whole staff.
4.

I'll be there for the Saturday and Sunday games pulling for the horns though !
Probably won't be too hard to find you then ;). Do you have General Admission tix? I'll be there Saturday too, I'm looking forward to seeing how creative section 203 is this year.
Olsen Field is a great place to watch College baseball.  I watched many a games out in the left field parking lot (before they banned drinking out there and ruined all of the fun.) ;D  I don't think I watched a game from the stands until after I graduated.
5. BC didn't charge last year, but that was just to help out the hurricane victims.  Good idea by someone.
6.
Nederland took this one 15-2
Soph or JV?
7. Laird threw great, and Nederland took advantage of some PNG mistakes.  Good win for the Dogs.  Keep it going Nederland and bring home another District Championship!
8. Stone into pitch.
9. Central leads 3-0 in the 3rd
10. Zoch vs Wendling.  3-0 BC leads after 1. Hicks 2 run double
11. Not sure if Bellow is pitching in this one, but Cody Laird has been Nederland's best pitcher all year.  He is very capable of beating PNG. Laird is one of the top 3 or 4 pitchers in the district, he just happens to play on the same team as Bellow. I look forward to a good game tommorrow night.
12. I'm starting to agree with you Coop, they may never win a game. The Astros have scored 13 runs in their first 6 games of the year, which is exactly how many the Arizona Diamondbacks scored today in the 4th inning of their game. Their team batting average is .222, and their strikeout to walk ratio is 43:5.  It's tough to score runs with no one on base. The Astros payroll is the 8th highest in the league, and it is hard to believe they can't put a competitive team on the field with those contracts. I usually go to 7 or 8 games a year, but I don't know if will be paying to go watch them play this year.  Heck, I had free tickets Saturday and still didn't go.
13. I would say Riojas at WO-S.  Most of the other teams that we knew were going to have good seasons are doing just that.  Riojas has done a great job with the Stangs and looks to have them ready to make a playoff run. Griff may be a close 2nd considering all that LC-M lost from last year.  6-2 trailing 1st place by 1 game isn't too bad with a team that many(including me) had missing the playoffs this year.
14. Both teams are 7-1 in district play, and this game could decide the district champion.  PNG took the 1st game fairly easily, can they do it again? Should be Laird vs. Reyenga on the mound.  Who wins?
15. Off to an 0-4 start, it's going to be a long season for us Astro fans.  Will they ever win a game?
16. 7-2 OF headed to the bottom of the 7th
